gibz170 is a Scammer - His Wholesale & Dropshipping Setup

I purchased from gibz170 back on April 27th. He said that it would take, at the absolute most, two weeks from the moment he received the money to the time I would have the package in my hands. I paid him via PayPal that very same day.

It is how May 22nd, and I still have no package.

On the 18th of May, I sent him a PM & posted on his thread asking him what was going on. I have also tried to contact him via Skype to no avail.

On the first of May, he opened this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blackhat-lounge/303435-wish-me-mom-luck.html stating that he would be offline for 1-2 weeks because he had to go to Israel because his mom had been diagnosed with cancer, but you'll also see in that OP that he stated that everybody's packages had been shipped.

I encourage everybody else who purchased and didn't receive anything from one of his many wholesale & dropshipping threads to speak up (I know there are others).

I wasn't even going to open this thread, as it isn't a very large amount of money that I lost, but to not do so would only allow others to be scammed by him in the future.

How did you pay if you used paypal or alertpay call them they will refund right away

Yea, I'll get my money back no problem from PayPal.

He was encouraging everybody who purchased from him (including me) to send him the money as a gift due to "fees" so I asked if I could send extra to cover his fees and pay as "goods" (which I did).

Ya don't ever fall for the gift crap the guy knows how to go around paypal sending the money back, seems like you know what your doing.

Of course, but when I asked to do it the other way, he didn't seem to have a problem with it.

Besides, worst case scenario for me, I get no product and get my money back. Best case scenario, I get a good deal on what I ordered. So really, there was no risk for me (other than allowing him to basically "borrow" some of my money for a period of time).

Fair enough...pity you cant get hold of him to iron out, guess the issue if you believe his story - his mom only had a couple of weeks...but hey, doctors cant be that precise maybe his is still over there and she is hanging on in there which could explain the issues in getting hold of him...guess tho it doesnt help you and what you wanted...do you know anyone else who could try and validate his story or contact...sounds like am teaching an exec to suck eggs...

Haha, nah, you're not telling me to suck eggs, I see what you're saying. To be perfectly honest, while I hope his mother is okay, it wouldn't have had any affect on me not receiving my items.

The only thing it would or could affect, would be my ability to get into contact with him. But had he shipped it out, and I was able to get into contact with him, what is he going to say..."let me call the post office" ?

The reality of the situation is, I didn't get what I paid for and what is going on in his personal life has no bearing on me not receiving the package (since he said it was shipped out before he left to go see his mother).

So there is no need for me to try and verify his story.

always wanna pay by gift to save a few $ guess it
depends if the person you gift to is trust worthy or
reputable. not all gift money takers are bad.
but i hope you get cash back and any others as well.

Gibz170's dropshipping thread is closed until this order is verified as fulfilled. I'm contacting him directly to answer to this thread. There's still a chance he may be having issues with a sick family member so let's hope he replies here and makes good on this. This could a misunderstanding and I'd hate to jump the gun if there's a family emergency involved. Once he delivers on this order I'll close this up and reopen his thread, so let's hope for a good outcome for all involved until further notice.

Any other members with outstanding and/or completed orders are encouraged to submit additional information here.

Well if he is working (it is 2:04 pm in Israel now), he should probably be active on BHW around 6 pm (if he sleeps after work and if he works till 5).

Yeah asking people to send as a gift via PayPal and then telling a story about their mom getting diagnosed with cancer is a huge red flag to me.
