Watch out people! TJlight is a scammer.

I just got called from a credit card company regarding an application "I" recently submitted. I'm 99% sure this is TJLight's scamming work. Luckily, I have fraud protection so he can't get me! But wanted to warn people who gave him information....

I only gave him my name. He had me sign up for a Myspace affiliate website (which I'm now positive is something he just set up for the scam) in which I gave my address and ss # to for payment (I know...dumb! But I figured this is normal information affiliate companies ask for)

dude what the fuck?

that's freaky

i gave him all the information he asked me.

question is, why would someone as prominent as him(knowing hes a dancer/choreographer and can easily be tracked) scam people? Unless hes not really Tom John and only posing as him right?

TJ LIGHT
AKA TOM JOHN

It's been known to happen.

I know there are a lot of f*ckheads our there but this is pretty shitty of the man/woman/it. Just amazing

I don't have fond memories of the whole tjlight episode. Scammer or not he did not conduct himself well whatsoever.

you may be jumping to conclusions. just because someone submitted a credit app doesn't mean tjlight is responsible for it. everyone should refrain from posting his personal information. that's just not fair.

I agree

Help! Tjlight stole my identity! I gave him my real name: M'Balz Es Hari

Well it's not like it's private info it's up on a couple other boards where people claim he scammed them. There's even people who filed police reports over his scams. He's had months to respond to these people on BHW and he reportedly scammed people on other forums never to be heard from again so that's why I posted the info. Scammers who steal identities are scum and should be treated like scum

Shit... thats bad.
So basically youre saying he made a phishing site masquerading as an affiliate program?

The simple fact that he has shown to log in to the forum, but never responded to those accusations against him show he was up to something really shady.

People, be careful. If you register to an affiliate company, especially one nobody has heard before, its best to sign up using a Corporate Name, instead of giving out your personal info.

I am not 100% familiar how the rules in the USA are about this, but I am sure there are ways to avoid giving out your SSN, such as registering a "business name", or using some other form of "tax id".

And even if its a relatively "well known" company... you never know just WHO has access to your info. Dont believe the "privacy policy: you data is held in top-secret, super secure systems, blah blah" BS you read, in most cases, just about any employee with access to the database, from the CEO, down to the 17 year old pot-head "customer service" rep can view enough info about you to steal your identity.

clickcash - the program he referred everyone to, is a legit online affiliate company..

I checked my reports and nothing out of the ordinary.

So, I don't know, maybe I just have bad credit?
