hello BHW members ,
I have board of apprx 6k + followers and apprx 20k+ following. How much pins i have to do per day so i can get 1k+ UV/day on my blog ?
Right now am going with 60-80 pins /day.
Thanks in advance

like 1k+ UV/day .. how much pins/day for this one ?

Go for quality not for the quantity , try to upload fresh pins with link to your blog / site .

any suggestions my seniors ?

60-80 per account/day should be ok. I do 20-30 per account/day using 11 accounts. The accounts are over 5 months old and have collected over 40k followers total. I pull in over 1k UV/day mostly from Pinterest.

Here's the latest I'm trying out to gain more traffic/followers: I read somewhere that Pinterest takes into account the following-to-follower ratio when it comes to their search algo. My goal currently is to drop that ratio to 1:1 or less. It's a work in progress, so I don't have any worthwhile observation but it can't hurt since accounts following xx,xxx people with xxxx followers look spammy to me. Perhaps they look spammy to non-IM pinners.

I prefer doing 20 pins a day atleast, and so far I have 60+ followers in a week. Not a bad stats !

Well that depends on a lot of reasons , try to share images that will force users to visit your site and so
PM me for more ways

Do you guys really think spamming loads of pins a day is a good idea? 60-80 doesnt really seem natural does it? If you were just the average user you wouldnt do that would you? or is that over multiple accounts?

Im only just starting so no authority but so far I've been only doing one or two but I still seem to be getting loads of new followers, my most was 48 in a day recently- tho I don't know if thats good or not just good for me so far. It seems to be snowballing since I have gone past 500 folowers. im still only on 700 follwoers so small in the game :P.

I too am wondering when I'll get regular traffic.

Ive been focusing on my bot following others to get followers though and neglecting pinning which I'm going to put more effort into now.

I also made an unfollow bot cos like others say I want to keep the ratio down between followed/followers.

60-80 is about as high as you can go. It's probably actually a waste to pin that much honestly. 6K followers is not enough for 1K clickthroughs. If you had a 6K audience on adwords you wouldn't get that.

It's more about how many followers are seeing your stuff in their feed.

Best way to scale up is make more accounts and follow targeted people. You will get 6-12% following back, and they will see your stuff chronologically when you pin.

You can follow a certain amount per IP, regardless of what account you are on. Get a proxy or 2 and run 2-3 accounts on each IP using whatever automation you prefer. iMacros is a good choice.

Pin random popular bullshit, possibly also using iMacros or your software of choice. This is just to dilute your money pins, which you should pin at peak times.

It's all about scale.

60-80 like stated above, Pinterest has been giving out bans left and right so be careful

And, I was thinking the same thing reading over the OP and follow up responses. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who sees 60-80 pins a day as spammy. You have to think like the typical user of a site. The average soccer mom using Pinterest and pinning recipes and pics of cute shoes might pin ten photos a day. Anyone posting nearly 100 pics might be seen as trying to manipulate Pinterest. Just a handful of really quality pins is going to get you further.

The best thing would be to test things out. Excessive low quality pins may cost you followers so focus more upon good quality.

A normal mom pin 10-20 each day, so I think it's better not to go beyond that.
