I got a quality response from a Lounge thread about this, and a request via PM to post it here:

Put some broken english response on there on a fake name that won't trigger Ripoff Reports alerts, but contains personal information, real or not. Something like:

"Tommy is asshole worst man evr lets teach him leson social is 9283682973 adress is 192 north main st new york ny 10001 fone is 1729278374 go ahed make his day!"

Then once it clears as a comment, report it through Google here and hit "I would like to remove my personal information from Google's search results". Then hit "I would like to remove my confidential, personal information from Google's search results (e.g., security or government ID number, bank account or credit card number, or an image of your handwritten signature)".

It will send you here. Ask for it to be removed "In Google's search results and on a website". Then hit "No, I prefer not to due to the nature of the information shown". Then "A government-issued ID number". Then hit United States and Social Security Number. Fill out the form and wait a day or two.

It'll deindex (worked 80% of the time for me) but the Ripoff Report won't disappear. I'm sure it'll be nice for that to not be on page one for your business, though.

Your results may vary. To be fair, this worked seven times in a row, didn't work the eighth time, and hasn't worked this most recent time, and I haven't had to do this for a good 6-8 months.

WOW!! Nice method OP!!! I am regular on BHW, but i don't check every comment on every post!! I think I need to start doing so!! haahah

Sounds good, I will try this with scambook. The only problem with scambook is that it's impossible to sign up and get email confirmation which allows to post comments. They have been experiencing some major problems with their emailing system recently

Very interesting to say the least! I am curious how people wake up in the morning and talk that way.

Very Interesting, I wish I knew this when I had a relative who owned a company with about 10 thing son ripoff report, They tried so many times to get the items removed from ROR but they refused. If im not mistaked the site is managed by an ex con.

Hmm - i don't see an option to leave a comment - just file a rebuttal - is that what you're doing?

Thanks!

Thanks, cool idea, trying this now with a random one I found that's pretty hardcore, 5 years old, 14 comments & rebuttals, shows up #5 in an exact match search. Have to admit it felt all kinds of wrong to actually sign up for that garbage site, and really wrong to add to some existing report, but it seemed like a really awful company with lawsuits and a lot of supporting evidence for complaints. Worst case, sh*tty people are no worse off, best case sh*tty people get a little free gift, but 4 other sites still outing them as sh*tty people.

My first foray into this business 4 years ago was getting a ripoff report from #1 to page 2 for a guy with a uniquely spelled name, I thought back then there's no way riprpt will still be kicking in 2016! If anyone has read the Forbes article on Ed M, he's such a dirtbag, would be great to have a more direct way (this solution) to take on RR.

Sounds like a great idea. Will it work on a blog of some creep attacking your customer? They have a comments section, so I imagine the process may work the same.

Holy shit, that is one of the best ideas I've read in BHW in a very, very long time and I will be using that (not just for ripoff report)

I appreciate that, but I suggest not using this advice for Ripoff Report. Another member tested it out using this same method and all that happened was the personal information was removed and the update went through without it.

If there's one thing you DON'T want to happen to a Ripoff Report about yourself or a client, it's another update on the ROR page.

This being the case, closing thread.
