Well I don't have to explain Amazon to you guys, you know it and you know they kill it in E-commerce.
They now offer Print on Demand Services similar to Teespring so now is the time to jump on in and take some money from Amazon.

Go to: http://merch.amazon.com request an invitation and fill in the details. Choose small business, put business name etc, and in the additional comments
section you want to put this code: #webinar (please note this was shared by Amazon themselves, this is NOT an affiliate code)

This will help expedite your approval into MBA. I got in within 10 days i believe, so hopefully you too can get accepted quicker. Try logging in every day after the first 10 days to see if you've been approved,
I noticed they did not send me an email notifying me i was accepted. I just happened to login at the top right and i was on my dashboard.

Use a service like Vecteezy to get PREMIUM graphics that you can put onto shirts to resell on Amazon. I think it's like $14 a month (very affordable).

Or if you're a designer then no need. Canva is also a very nice tool to create your design concepts. Just follow trends and find T shirt ideas on popular sites. This is a nice way to create residual income.

This thread can be used to share ideas, motivate one another, and look into new ways to increase sales on MBA.

Cheers Guys

Nice, Amazon launched many great features in the past 10 months.

I was approved for a Merch by Amazon account and I've haven't used it. I don't even have any game apps and they approved me anyway. So how do I go about promoting? I'm going to look into this today.

Thanks for post. I just applied for invitation

Wonderful!!! I tried to open another account there just 5 minutes ago after reading your OP, because the one I had opened in the 2nd week of February, didn't get me any response from that site. What happened was(!!), I tried opening a new account with a new email ID (that's what I thought), one of my lesser used emails from my stock, and try my luck with one more account...

The site told me that I'm having an existing account by the same email address. In a flash, I remembered your advice (the above green text) and then logged in with as "I'm an existing member" (or whatever that was)...

I got in, and was already a member in Merch! Those a$$holes didn't took any effort to let me know that I had been selected.

If you hadn't said that green-marked sentence, I would be perpetually waiting for a email from Merch. lol

So thanks a lot!

Precisely why I wanted to post this. Glad i could have helped!

As for promotions, i'm still researching many free methods in which you can promote. On viral sites like Reddit, FB groups, etc. as well as paid traffic methods.

Stay tuned ;)

This is awesome information! Thanks, I didnt see the code field though. Maybe it was removed?

Thank you a lot for the information!
Is it possible to have 2 or more accounts on Amazon, with different personal information but with the same bank account? Or it will be immediately banned?

Can I draw my art design and upload to be used on my selected T-shirts? Its the $14 a monthly subscription fee one must pay every month whether one sells or not?

I am a member of Merch already since its first day in October and I can say that posting t shirts there is only maybe 10% of the work to do. I did not make any sales in past 4 month. There are so many t shirts on Amazon, so just by search traffic you won't get anywhere.
I might try Instagram or Pinterest for promoting, however, it is very difficult to find a design that hasn't been used a thousand times already.

Payments: If you've bank account in almost all the developing nations, then you won't get paid electronically.
Merch says this:
Quote:
Amazon customers can purchase your merchandise in their local currency, but you can get paid in your preferred currencies. Merchandisers need to add one active bank account to get paid for all of their sales. Soon, we may support more advanced payment configurations.
~Unquote.

At present, only the following countries are included to get payment and their nationals can give their bank addresses:
So for other guys/merch merchandisers, they must have bank address in one of the following countries only to get paid!

Countries included for electronic payment:
US, UK, Canada, Australia, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Rep., Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, French Guiana, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guadeloupe, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mayotte, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, St. Martin, St. Pierre and Miquelon, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland.

I wonder why Amazon has a separate retail website for these 3 countries (Brazil, China and India), and is doing exceptionally well in those countries, but it does not recognizes a single bank from those countries for paying the designers? AMAZON has retail websites in Brazil, China and India, but these countries do not find a place in that exclusive list?! Very disappointed...

It is shocking that Amazon is ignoring all those t-shirt designers/artists/Merchandisers from the 3 huge countries who can also benefit from their Merch program!

Don't give up! Organic traffic is powerful with the right tools and good designs. Here is what is possible with Organic Amazon Searches:

Achieved in only around 3 months, roughly 871 designs, with 170 being the main ones selling. So selling with MBA, it's about BOTH QUANTITY & QUALITY.

As this program is still new, i'm sure they will expand and bring on more designers/sellers. In time :)

How where you able to get 870 designs? Do you design yourself? Or you buy them? If you only pay $10 per design, which is really nothing, you would have to spend almost $9,000. And then most of them do not sell so you would have paid for nothing. So I guess you design yourself?

I'm still waiting still 2-3 weeks, nothing happend. Wanna try it again with the #webinar code. How I know that the request was accepted from amazon? If I click to the create link then its forwarding me to the request form.
