Im so pumped! Im making a killing.
Heres my method, its simple as hell.

Find a product niche, something in high demand on ebay.

step two-find a site selling said product/products for cheap. try discount electronic website for example.

step three-list products you KNOW will sale, with a starting bid of the sites sale cost, plus say $20 for shipping.

step four- wait for auctions to end, collect your loot.

step five-place orders on site for said products =] have them shipped to each winning bidder.

you may only make a 10-20 usd profit per lot, but you can list 100's of items each day. its all about research and making sure it will sell.

It sounds like your describing drop shipping. There's a ton of ebooks and info out there on the subject if anyone else is looking for something a bit more in depth.

Yep there's tons of stuff on dropshipping out there, the method you're talking about can make you $100 a day with little skill and a lot more if you can autorelist numerous successful items while adding new auctions to your ever growing list.

I guess I just feel there's a lot easier ways to make a few hundred bucks a day than all the work of researching hot selling marketing, tracking down the site with the cheapest product, creating an auction, answering an questions that come up, ordering the product then tracking shipping......That's a lot of work.

You need to be careful with that strategy.

Because the customer has bought from you, you will be responsible for any loos or damage caused by faulty goods.

It's far better to deal with a wholesale drop shipper who have the systems set in place to manage delivering stuff sold through ebay.

Well I use a dropshipper :p but I thought this might get interested parties looking in the right direction. if anyone wants anymore info just ask me here. Ill be glad to help.

Just dropshipping.

Goto alibaba dot com
tradekey dot com
liquidation dot com

Watch your bases there are a bunch of dickhead scammers on those sites.

alibaba has a bad rep,
also stay away from dopa

Yeah WhiskerBiscuit need tips on finding a good dropshipper.

What if your dropshipper is out of stock. Do you have some sort of a back up. $20.00 shipping is a huge amount. Has this really worked for you

the trick is all in finding a quality dropshipper. you can meet these guys at tradeshows or w/e. theres a ton of bullshit guys online, but a few are decent. i used chinavision for awhile and they always worked out pretty well.

Right now im testing DHgate with some products.. As long as they are real good replicas I could care less......

What is a good dropshipping company that does not charge you anything to signup with them and are legit?

Plus have low prices and no hidden costs?

I have had problems in the past with some.

I'd be interested in hearing about any more dropshippers people think are good to work with or alternately, to avoid. Thanks.

Yes, Chinavision is good for ebay droshipping. I think they are conducting 5 day mail course in dropshipping ebay selling. I think I had gone through it. But if one user returns product and asks for refund, the problem begins. I don't know how this dispute can be resolved.

Otherwise the idea is good. China vision has thousands of electronics items and I myself had found many items in ebay listings. But the seller says it will be despatched from factory at China and if requires any custom clearance, it should be done by the buyer. That is another problem if a guy in customs asks for a bribe to clear the item.

This informations I collected when I was searching for LCD panels to make DIY LCD projector. Later bought Viewsonic DLP projector. (I had spoiled one acer lcd monitor in my DIYroject). That is a different story .

if the drop shipper charges you to sign up then they are not worth dealing with.

If you can afford it, liquidation.com can make you a lot of money. A pallet of under cabinet DVD players or ipods can be sold for a nice profit, problem is you may need $700 to $1000 to buy a pallet.

You also need to check the manifest and make sure everything is new, not damaged or salvage merchandise.

I've heard, and I don't know if it's true that you can win a pallet and then choose to send a check which will take up to a week to get cashed.

If you're super crafty you can list the items on eBay and various other sites for maximum exposure send the check a couple days late and hopefully make your money before the check clears.

could some one plase post a list of reviewed suppliers? i think that will help us the newbies to start selling on ebay

thanks a lot

you can go to salehoo but you gotta pay for a membership, I know someone that bought photoshop from one of the sites and made a $200 profit
