Very old method. I'm sure has been shared before. However, there is a little twist.
I saw this orange flyer on my garaged door today when I was checking the mail. So I start reading and I read the first paragraph and it is for painting the addresses on curbs. But the way the paragraph is written as well as the ORANGE FLYER made me initially think that it was from the city. The orange color is the same color of notices from the city. SMART.
I dont know if he got lucky or he thought of that, but thats the effect it had.
I dont know if he thought of it because I think he has the bolded call to action (Dont be left out!) in the wrong place. In my opinion.
I think it should be in between the first and second paragraph.
I just thought his copy was good as well as the way he is doing it. As opposed to going door to door with paint & supplies in hand.
The top of the flyer says "AREA NOTICE"
The first sentence reads "tomorrow, new house numbers are scheduled to be applied ...."

At the bottom of the flyer it says "Thank you for your Business!" It just got cut off. If you are trying to make it look like its from the city you leave that out though.
I thought of a way to upsell them after I finished reading the flyer. You could definitely get team logos and charge an extra $10 to have their team logo on there as well.
I would only have to get like 4-5 Big 12 teams to put on there in my area. Plus all the pro teams, but you can work that part out pretty easy.
Have your flyers made to where looking a regular sheet of paper horizontally you would have 2 flyers if you cut it down the middle. You save some money this way.
Hopefully this helps a few newbs looking for some start up money.
