In 7 days I got 2000 followers on an account about nature. I posted 2 pics per day and followed 100 people per hour manually from big accounts like 6 times a day or so. I was following 5000 people, more or less. I got banned this morning.

Now I want to start over a NEW account, but doing it properly, without getting banned.

I've read Instagram limits are 60 per hour. Should I just follow 60 people per hour every hour?

Is there any more specific limit like hourly or daily or any?

Thanks.

I've been following like 400-800 people per day manually and I have no problems
I follow like 100-150 in one sitting

My personal advice is: start doing follow/unfollow only after your account is at least 7 days old and after you have posted at least 10 media
Be careful, don't go over the limits and you are not going to be banned

there's no need to be excessively cautious. inb4 you recommend waiting 1 month before following/unfollowing. that ain't necessary.

The limits you are referring to are the api limits IG officially posted/stated.

Go with around 50 followers/hr and I'd say you're good to go.

If you're first starting out, start with around 100 follows/day and work you way up SLOWLY. Do not exaggerate. Depending on your account's age, I haven't had any problems following around 500-700, but my accounts aren't new at all.

Always try to spread your follows throughout the day.

You should try to get your account unbanned, after all you've been doing it manually without abusing any bots.

Best Regards,
Jaymien.
