Is anyone else getting insanely low facebook reach at this hour?

I believe at this hour. Approximately August 30th, at 4 PM Pacific Time Onwards, the reach has become insanely low.

I have links that received a reach between 5K to 15K. I had the same thing as usual setup, and all of a sudden the reach of my latest link was only 450.

I go to other pages like Viral Nova and look:

It only has 18 likes and 21 shares even though a link it posted 2 hours ago has:

1.3K likes and Viral Nova also averaged 1 to 2k likes.

Has only 700 likes

It's previous post had 9k likes and its average likes per post is between 20K - 30K.

Look at 9Gag:

Its latest photo only has 3K likes. The photo 7 hours ago has 17K likes and the one before that has 170K likes. And its average likes per photo is 100K - 300K.

Look at Best Vines:

Only 93 likes for latest video, but 2 hours ago it had 6.4K likes and averages 6K likes.

This is more than enough evidence. Lets hope this is a temporary mistake by Facebook. If not than this is the official death of facebook and every advertiser will leave the site. Time to find another social network.

UPDATE: It seems like the low reach has been fixed. Lets hope it stays fixed.

Since the update the other day my 25k page reaches 700 people maximum if it's just a picture post and under half of that if it's a link!

Used to get a few hundred likes on every picture post and now it's averaging around 30.

Think it's time to forget about Facebook unless you've got the money to boost your posts.

Same here OP , all my facebook pages over 500k are useless now :/

One of my pages has gone down in reach, another has gone up. The one that decreased reach I wasn't posting relevant content, the one I that increased was relevant to my page so maybe that has something to do with it.

yes exactly you can't really understand what's going on here , some of my friends are claiming they got their reach back but I didn't , all of my pages are dead now :/

Strangely this happens from pages to pages just randomly and even more strange is that facebook released their numbers going up like crazy! Well to me its no coincidence it's just some e-pirates stealing money by forcing you to do ads because you will not give up your amazing facebook page.

Well whatever just adabt and fuck it or leave it, start all over again and go to some other social network.

Are you guys having a bad reach these last 3 hours? Cuz mine is terrible now.

My pages have terrible reaches too.

Same here, not an fb page but a profile. Before I have had 2-300 likes on a photo post, now I am glad if it makes it to 100.

People actually not care anymore of likes especially when you can buy likes all around
