The other day I posted that I was able to get 14k facebook likes in about a month and a half for dirt cheap using facebook ads. I was surprised at the amount of messages I've received asking me how to do this. To me it was obvious but I guess if you're new to facebook advertising it's not as simple.
Basically you need to create a new ad promoting your facebook page. And in the targeting options you need to add as many countries as you can. In my case i didnt care about the language they spoke but you can set it to English if it's important. You want to be targeting a minimum of 300 million people for this to work.
Next change the option at the bottom to pay per click and not the default (default is "people most likely to "like" my page). Once this option is changed you will see the option to set your bid price. It will suggest something like 0.25 cents but change it to 0.01 and you are all set.
Now you need to repeat the process with about 10 ads and they should be approved within the next few hours. Just change the picture or text around on them so facebook doesn't think it's duplicates.
Keep in mind that this method only works for worldwide likes.
Now go get some likes!
