Is it legal to sell grinders on ebay/online?

Tried to google for answer, couldn't really find it. If anyone know, let me know please. Thanks.

Firstly, eBay are not policy makers. They have their own policies but they are not enforceable by law, unless they are designed to be enforceable, which is almost always the case. It would depend on the specific country's laws, if they are legal to sell there, then they are legal to sell on eBay and ship to that country. However, eBay may have policies in place that say you cannot sell paraphernalia that are designed for consuming dangerous substances. You'll have to check to see if the object is legal in the country you are shipping to/from and maybe contact eBay to get a response. Also see if anyone else is selling them.

When you're talking about the products you want to sell, there's a lot of very slippery legal gray area, and if you don't use the syntax that allows you to operate in that gray area, then you'll get slapped. Read up on Operation Pipedream and Operation Headhunter for an example of government crackdowns on possible paraphernalia sales online. Be very careful out there!

Seems like you are good to go unless you are in a place that would prohibit such a transaction. I see plenty of listings for Space Cases among other brands all over eBay/amazon right now. I would cover yourself with a disclaimer of use and impose that the buyer must be 18 years or older to purchase the item in the listing.

Yupp people are selling them calling herb grinders. I am not an ebay seller but I have purchased herb grinder and vaporizer before. What's funny though is the fact that I tried to resell it and my seller account got banned. So, you need to be creative with the description.

Thanks for the answer. I've read the whole "Tommy Chong - Operation Pipedream and Operation Headhunter wiki page" That's what got me concerned. I know I have to sell them as herbal grinders. Just want to know for sure it's 100% safe. I have good supplier of grinders but I don't want to go jail for it. There is always other ways to make money.

A few of the listings from power sellers on eBay were saying grinders are "intended for use as a culinary device". I guess if you are making special brownies that counts Best of luck however you decide to pursue it!

I sold wooden herb grinders on EBay for quite sometime without issue, however like Madruga said above, you have to be operating in the correct manner.

I ended up moving out of the whole wooden grinder / glass pipe business, the reason being is it is legal to ship some place one day and illegal the next. It was not worth the overall risk for me.

If you decide to move forward, be sure to read up on where you can and cannot ship and also include disclaimers.
