In an effort to ensure you know the eBay Partner Network payment dates well in advance, we have decided to implement a consistent payment date each month. Starting in April 2009, the eBay Partner Network will process payments to publishers on the 25th of each month, unless it's a weekend, when you will be paid the next working day.

For example, if you are eligible to receive payments from the eBay Partner Network, you will be paid for April activity on Mai 25, 2009. The conditions for payment eligibility are still the same.

You are eligible for payment if:

* All payment and tax information on the "Payment Information" page is complete and accurate.
* Your combined earnings from all programs are over either: 5 USD, 5 Euros, 5 CAD, 5 AUD or 5 GBP

Note: eBay Partner Network reserves the right to suspend payment temporarily if a publisher is placed under investigation for violation of our Code of Conduct or our Advertiser Terms and Conditions. In such a case, the publisher will be contacted.

Regards,

The eBay Partner Network Team

So they pushing payments out an extra week. Not a good sign?

As long as it stays consistent, i dont think it really matters that it's an extra week (remember, it will only be an "Extra" week once).

this is the first positive step i've seen EPN take in quite some time now.

If I were stuffing, I would actually be worried about this new structure. I'd take it as a sign of new management and more oversight. The fact that they weren't paying on a regular schedule before speaks to the inexperience of the managers running the program. With eBay hurting the way it is, I imagine a lot of internal programs (as in departments, not computer applications) are getting heavily scrutinized. I don't know if that is the case or not, but corporate experience would indicate as much.

Just a thought.

This is definitely plausible. It could also be that people were getting frustrated with having to "Guess" when they would be paid, and they received enough complaints to do something about it.

Though, i dont really see EPN giving two shits about what their members say, so i'm probably wrong :p

That scenario is much too reasonable and forward-thinking for a company the size of eBay. :)

I don't think this would impact stuffer's on a large scale. If you are caught stuffing you might just not get your last check, however most serious stuffers have several accounts, that aren't tied together to combat this. But yeh stuffen aint easy ;)
