Duplicated Content for clickbank?

Hello, I have a doubt.

I know google hate duplicated content.

But, from my local forum, someone, a so called respectable guru in my country when it comes to clickbank said...

"Doesn't matter the duplicate content, submit the article to as many blogs, websites, and article directory you can."

And when we ask, will we be penalized for duplicated content and then the rank will be lowered?

He answers "You want to rank in google or you want sales?"

How true is his answer?
Or should I always stick to Google Webmaster Guidelines regarding duplicated content?

From a google point of view, duplicate content does not count against you if it is on another site. i.e same article posted on 50 blogs. These WILL NOT penalize your own site at all. Think about it. If it did, dont you think we would be copying our competitors articles and mass posting them on other sites to make their rankings drop?

However, spinning articles can be very good idea (if you know how to properly - as alot of ezine and article sites now can search for duplicate online and as such might not post your article if its under a certain % of original content.

But posting same content on your own same website WILL have a bad effect on your rankings.

I always go by one important rule - Love Google - You dont want to get on wrong side of them.

the idea behind that phrase is "if you know that article converts well (based on previous result), then why don't post it to other article directories as long as those directories accept duplicate content?". As for ranking, google will choose only one article for its serp (sometimes, the same article can be ranked in the serp twice or more if you use different titles if that keyword's competition is low) to satisfy and diversify information for the searchers. That's why spinning your article is a good idea (well, just now because google will create its own filter again to wipe out derivative content). However, if you know how to game the system of those article directories/web 2.0's, then you can get internal traffic without rank on google. You get me?

There are softwares that can help you do the spinning process (i.e use of synonyms) like power article writer and magic article rewriter, but it is still best that you make the spinning yourself. nothing beats the human eye

There is and always will be the debate on duplicate content. My take.. why risk it.. Give a spin or a human look as "crack dhat" says. It's not that difficult and can certainly make the difference you need.

I am on early stage...
Too time consuming to spin it myself...
Outsourced, just don't have the funds yet...

After this first jump start, I'm not hesitating to outsource for re-writers...
