I recently started a massive branding project. For the website, been adding content and hired a couple of writers to do so on a daily basis. Anyways, I pretty much had low traffic numbers (10UV-20UVs), but the past 3 days, something a bit weird started to happen.
3 days ago, we got 6 UVs from beverly hills, 2 days ago it raised to 18, and yesterday the number raised to 70 UVs... While this could be good, I am not really sure how is this possible. I haven't really done anything to target beverly hills in particular, and while it might have been competition or just some friends spreading it out, pages have not had a huge interation via social networks.
Anyways, knowing that my writers are from other locations in the US, my question is, why in your opinion is the website receiving an increasing number of visitors from a particular location. I have not had many clicks on the CPA/CB/ZON links, which is normal, but dont know.
Would appreciate your input specially if you've gone through something similar, im starting to think that it might be simply spiders???
