One key factor in ranking blog pages

I wanted to share a secret with you guys. A pretty powerful secret with some of you may already know.

For many people, when they create a site, their homepage is generic and then the blog posts are targetting the keywords they are going for. Well this is how I do it at least.

When you want to rank specific blog posts, write your article yourself using good keywords with alot of thought behind the article, and also related keywords scattered throughout the article.

Then add 1 or 2 comments, about 100-200 words every day, using your keyword, and using related keywords. Sometimes reply to other comments you made and make it seem like a natural conversation.

And every day if that new page is getting updated with new content, Google and search engines will love your blog post and you will rank for so many other keywords + your main that your targetting.

I have had a blog post up for maybe 4 months, and you know when you log into your wordpress account, and you see all those posts under moderation? I edit those posts, take out the link, and change the text something related to your keyword.

Do this every day + regular quality niche related backlinking, and you have yourself a spot in the top 10.

how about the emails to use, lets say you have 10 or so you use for your main account creation/ backlinking...- so create new emails when commenting on your own blog posts?

I always put fake emails and they work fine

edit: and to add a little bit more, I think it adds value to the page because its constantly being updated. rather than just dumping a 1k word article and never looking back, I think Google loves it when pages keep adding on-topic content. Some of my pages have close to 5k words I would say. Most of my comments are not nearly 100-200 words, but they are like 40-50 words but I have a ton of conversations which I make artificially, and alot of people actually think they are real comments and they add their opinion on top of that.

Comments do rank well, I've found several answers to technical questions via the blog replies rather than the main post.
 
Well I do use this technique quite often. I have around 20 websites and I put content of 1000 words twice a month on each blogs. And then I get the conversation started. But I keep in mind not to over-use the same keywords used in the articles and instead I add related long tail keywords in the conversation. It does help to some extent.
 
Quick question - Should I use a different proxy for each fake email address/comment I post on my blog page.
 
I have been doing this as well. Edit the comments to make it more natural. A lot of times as black hatters we know damn well they scraped our site and blasted to it. Ok, fair enough but for those who do the comments well I just tweak them a bit more. Look at it as black hatters helping other black hatters :)
 
So by default Wordpress doesn't publish the ip of who commented? And this should also help with bounce rate and make your blog page look less spammy

I see that the ip comments is seen in the Wordpress back-end. How do you disable the ips from showing or how can you edit them?
 
Theres a plugin wp commenter

you leave it on for a while
set it to go to all the posts you want commented on

This way somebody else supplies all the ip
usually scrapebox

And you just need to tidy them up

Good approach. But I could not get why people were concerned about emails and proxies. While editing comments, you may delete them. Other than admins, no one can see email of the commenter.
 
I really love this idea.


I used to do this just to increase user engagement on my site, as a way of showing some amount of commenting...

And the funny thing is that other people blasting your site with scrapebox usually make this really easy.

Great method.. I didn't realize it would help out with SEO too.

No wordpress does not publish IP's of the comments

As per bounce rate, it will help the visitor interact more with the website. The best part about it is that it starts a natural conversations, so free on-topic content for the blog owner. If people see 0 comments, they won't comment, but if people see a conversation, they will put in their opinions too.
