HELP-Is there any way to have Affiliate links in a Wordpress.com FREE blog?

HELP !

Is there any way to have affiliate links in a FREE wordpress.com blog?
I am trying to link some images -banners but wordpress change the link and redirect me to the Policy Page below...

h*tp://en.word*press.com/types-of-blogs/

It is the first time using Free wordpress blog but I am confused as I have seen some other free (domain-host) blogs with affiliate links on them, so why I am not allow ?

Hi there,

You may have wordpress.com confused with wordpress.org (the .org version supplies wordpress but you will need your own hosting). The .com owns *your* site and therefore you don't have the same level of control over what you put on it. Sorry. There are other free sites that will allow affiliate links that you can use but some have restrictions on the type of products you promote/number of links.

just use a .co.cc domain to redirect,

i never had a problem with them.
also create a new account. since they will be watching you a little closer now.

they can`t manage to check everything thats posted. you just had a bit of bad luck that they found you and didn`t find others.

Is it too hard to read that link instead of posting here and waiting for an answer?

Anyway, you cannot setup an affiliate blog on free wordpress. Either host it yourself or use blogger instead.

I have used wordpress with my own host and domain so I was just wondering if I can test the waters using free wordpress blogs.....well I guess I will have to try blogger or other platform instead.
