Lol that was me in 2010 :D

The most ever users online at any time was 28... How times have changed.

It was a good start.

That was before me and I browsed for a long time even in '06 I only registered when the download section started only letting you view so many threads per period of time and I first started experimenting more heavily with BH money making as opposed to WH SEO. This forum really exploded and I hadn't thought of how small it really was when I first stumbled on it. Great post man!

Cool share, thanks. I read some threads. Good to know our history.

Nice looks a lot different

You should bring back Blackhat man! cool logo

Check this out. Some vintage Google hate. :p
Some things never change.

I don't think so..after all the main purpose for all of us using black hat is to make some money out of it..unless some one uses it as a test bed or out of hate for google...

But the point Black Hat made is valid...u don't want it so visible that ppl leave ur site like that...u would want them to leave probably by clicking an ad...and I was once told by a senior bh...make ur ads the most beautiful thing on the page...

u just want spiders to visit...

hope this helps

Cheers !

A lot of money was made back then, a lot of money, well i think the golden years were 07-09. The "Ebay" years. Im pretty sure some people still living off money they made back then.

Sounds like it, tough to say cuz before you had less competition but now you have more people buying stuff online.

Wow that takes you way back.

Check this out, apparently there was a poll to make BHW a paid membership forum-
http://web.archive.org/web/20081202...ons-feedback/37942-closing-off-bhw-world.html

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you want to close off BHW to non-members?
Vote above!

Yes: Please close off BHW to visitors I don't mind paying a small fee.

No: Please keep BHW open to the public I like it the way it is.

If so only members who pay a negliable fee of say $9 or $19 a month would have access to BHW forums. Executive VIP members would be exempt from fees since they have contributed in the past. Current donors would be given a 4 month free pass. Search engines would be allowed to spider the forum but would not "cache" anything thus we would not loose any traffic.
