England gone, Spain to win?

I was actually believing England could win.

They looked completely shit today. If I had to pick out the players who tried their hardest and played decent then they would probably be: Gerrard, Rooney, Carroll and Terry.

Todays game was played so poorly by England. Italy deserved it. Their attack was strong and they played better overall.

So, whose going to win? Im predicting a Spain V Germany final with Spain winning 2-1.

Don't count out Portugal, I actually like them to shock the Spaniards. Their defense has been stellar.

I have a feeling Spain will easily take them out. I don't see Portugal or Italy hitting the finals.
 
Rooney???? Really? Was we watching the same game?

What about Parker, Johnson or Lescott? They all played far better!

Rooney is way over hyped and rarely puts in a decenty perfomance for his country!
 
I'd say it's gonna be Spain vs Germany in the finals.
Tbh I think Germany will win.
 
I thought both sides were really poor tonight. England played Italys boring style of football instead of their own game. Alot of talent is missing from the English squad these days.

I fancy Portugal purely because of Ronaldo, the guy is just on fire and really dangerous. The Italians don't deserve to go into the final with that style of play, so hopefully Germany knock em dead.
 
England have been very poor all tournament but they didn't look like they wanted to win tonight. Germany should win the trophy, they are the strongest side and have been all along.

Wasn't suprised England went out, but still sad. Germany will win, definitely.
 
Actually England played better tonight, just to clear that up.

Are you sure you werent watching the womens team? Because they are playing alot better then the mens thats for sure.

Yes they do look knackered...and Germany have looked much sharper till now....but you never know, both the teams are pretty even. Sad about England though...agree with DCuthBert, they played like they knew they'd lose...
