Internet Marketing isn't for you. Sorry to say it but if you are constantly asking for help and information without going out and finding it yourself then I'm sorry but this isn't the right industry for you. We have to be self sufficient to make our money, don't work = no money.

People that come on here and think they're owed something and get angry when people don't help them need to GTFO!

They need bosses to tell them what to do, how much they are going to get paid and when to go on holiday.

Sorry just had to get that off my chest.

+1. Internet Marketing is not easy and it's a slap in our faces when a noob comes in here asking to be spoonfed when we all have worked so hard to get to where we're at.

as far as i'm concerned here are sooo many "spoonfed" postings i honestly don't know what the problem with guys on here is i mean what else do you want besides clicking on bhw's "make money" section and read an actual step by step plan on how to do what to make money (and ofc taking action) ?!

well your right somehow but i think the problem of the most guys in here is that they dont know where to start and what skills they have. they see that some guys are making 1k+ per day and want to do the same cause they see just $signs everywhere. i think the "dont act like an elephant"-thread needs an addendum. maybe i will write something on my vacation

I think most people need to find a money making method and not come back to BHW until they have spent at least six months going hard at it. Although i think reading the forum daily is a complete blast, it doesn't half become a distraction and confuses you with loads of ideas.

Concentrating on just one method at a time and putting loads of effort into it, will certainly bring anyone money even if its not huge amounts.

Choose a method spend at least six months working at it, and after six months if you haven't made any money then quit IM, its not for you!

you are right on that... but from another side, sometimes people are too harsh on n00bs

everyone was a noob at some point, everyone got help from someone at some point in their career; no one is "born" to be an internet marketer.

When I was a noob, I PAID someone for a good course that got me started. I exchanged value for value and didn't think anyone owed me anything.

Here on BHW, you don't have to pay anyone. Everything is already spelled out for free in various threads but instead of reading those threads, people are asking the same questions over and over again. Maybe a mandatory FAQ section would be a good idea.

Kinda OT, but it should also read "DON'T POST ON THREADS WITH A LAST POST OF 3 MONTHS AGO", I just trawled through the HF section now, as I do every so often, and find some clown posting when the OP was looking for banner designs 3 months ago. I post somewhat kindly notifying him of this, and another clown posts right below me saying "pm me, cheap rates".

The influx of idiot newbies seems to be growing a lot lately.

they come in all shapes and sizes and all shades of grey, noob and vet.

I don't believe the problem here is noobs per se but rather the typical a stereotypical branding if you will.

I have seen my share come and go on this site, it may surprise some but there are noobs with 3,4 and 5 star titles here as well, should they be called out for there failures and role playings portraying the illusions of success rather than the truth that being a troll does not equate to success?

I don't think that would be cool, just like I don't think that all noobs want to be labeled as hopeless losers who might as well get a job and a boss.

I believe anyone can be an internet marketer, I also believe people have bad luck and fall on hard times and want to make a little extra money online to help with day to day life, maybe they have a sick mother that needs surgery or just aint getting by with there 9-5 job, who knows but they want to learn enough just to make a little extra money, they may not grasp all the elaborate schemes some of us use to make us money they may not even want to but they still want to learn to some extent, who am I to deny them that desire? who am I to say you want to learn to make money online? well FU, I learned this on my own I worked very hard so you have to as well.

I have nothing against anyone on BHW but I will speak my mind if something troubles me and when I see arrogance and cruelty it troubles me.

People are inherently lazy so one shouldn't assume anything different for the noobs that wander into BHW. Still, I think it's important that we emphasize the value of the search function with the newbies and point them to existing threads that address their questions. In other words nudge them along rather than just greet them with open hostility. And let's face if we chase them off with hostility they'll just end up wasting their money on shitty WSO's which really does little for the IM segment.
