What to do if someone clones my site

Hi,
I have a site that already ranked high on search engines. But 2 days ago I have found a site that clones my site exactly 100% (from logo, adsense code, gg analytics, etc...).
I think he downloaded my site to HTML files and Uploaded to his hosting.
Could you please give me some advises?
And does it hurt my ranking?

Is he using your adsense codes? If so you are in big danger to get you adsense banned. I suggest you to edit your adsense to show only ads on approved domains by you and be safe that soneone else will not grab your adsense code and ban it.

Contact the hosting and you can file a DMCA with google, they might remove it from the SERPs

Luckily, I did it before it happened. I just worry about the ranking.

I have contacted with the hosting company and they said that they need a DMCA request, so now I'm trying to get it.

Take it as a compliment and file with your host and upload the files that you were before him and it's content

Better than DMCA to their host, just file a DMCA with Google for copied content. His website will be removed very soon (you might have seen chilling effects thing on many search queries, that's exactly what it is).

wouldn't a clone site hurt your ranking? Google would penalize you no?

All of them mention the same thing. But really it is a good thing. Complain your hosting service. They take further steps to correct it.

If you're ranking you've got nothing to worry about. Just make sure it's noted for your adsense account so you don't get banned.

How do you clone your site really ? Do they get your wp theme and content? Or what.

This is the right answer, google will take action, and will also give you some credibility if something nefarious happens to your adsense account.

There are tools that do the job. Security consultants use them to reconfigure a duplicated on a virtual server so they can pen test them.

The site looked exactly 100% my site. I think he has used a software for downloading all my pages to HTML files and Uploading to his domain.

If he doesn't, or just moves host, then send the dmca report to Google and it will get completely delisted.
