Is this niche golden or not??

I found a niche keyword with $17/click payout 50 000 searches per month and 855 000 competitors in g00gle when I search it in quotes (?keyword?) BUT when I search it without quotes (keyword) I get 262 000 000 results

I am planning to build an autoblog for it. I found a lot of content and I am ready to register a very good domain.
The only thing that stopping me is the 262 000 000 results that I get without quotes. Also I can see 2 edu sites in the first page of google but they are low down to 9 and 10 place. Should I go for it or not??

You should have no problem as long as you use the full key phrase when doing your SEO..

Get some backlinks with the exact phrase if you can!

i dont thig thats a good idea because when people gonna search for those keywords they dont put the quotes

if you can do loads of long tail keywords ( with your main keyword ) will rocks I mean .... will be like an golden mine even if you need to invest to get some clacking stuffs running and forwarding the traffic on main ... and of course the other toy which I`m planning to get it on next week xrumer ... it's seems it's working like a charm for this type of jobs

Looks good... Say you do rank number 1 and get 100% of the traffic (it will be closer to 90%). Then lets say you get a 1% ctr rate on the adverts, and that google gives you 50% of the revenue, you will get 250 clicks per month so you would get $4250 - tax would be like 3600 p/m minus any costs you would have (I promise you would have some) it would be like 3000 or 100$ per day.

Now they are just some rough calculations, it seems viable, but you will NOT rank with an autoblog, firstly google will think it is spammy so no good rankings, secondly the chances are you will buy a fresh domain, so it will take at least 6 months to get out of the sandbox.

It is a viable keyword but not with an autoblog + I have no idea what the competition is like, for the keyword.

Say it is for a keyword with only 10,000 competitors but they are all working on their seo it could be more difficult than a keyword with a million+ pages who with no real competition.

WOAH!! wait a sec I didn't read it properly... 262,000,000 competitors, no way near worth it. For the amount of work you would put in it wouldn't really be worth it unless you do it as a long term aim. So you buy the best domain you can and just slowly over the next couple of years write 1 very high quality link baiting article you should steadily climb up the ranks, but its definitely not an autoblog/short term i.e. 1/2 year project.

You won't be ranking for that keyword this year, if at all with an autoblog.

You can target the long tails which is fine.

Check the backlinks on the top 10 sites too, see if you can beat them.

Realistically, if you have the determination and a really good site(not an autoblog) then it might take you 4-6 months to get some good traffic.

Well, I am not planning to get in the 1st page of a 260 000 000 competitors keyword with an autoblog. That will never happen...
I am happy with 100-200 visitors a day and I just want 1 click a day ($10 click )
I will build a very good autoblog and I can do good SEO to it. Can I get organic traffic with that autoblog?

google has an algorithm for detecting low quality sites and giving them shitty ads (smartpricing)

If you're thinking $10/click .. think again .. you'd be better off creating/outsourcing quality articles on your subject and creating a html website that would allow you to control a lot better the positioning of your google ads.

U ll not get $10 daily for one click. U need to get traffic on long tail keywords and u need like 10 clicks daily on ads too. i think u ll get like $3-4.

Well, I have a very good way to get quality articles (automated) and I will make sure that my blog will look as real as possible. Also if I see that I get good traffic and the blog goes well, I will extent it to something bigger. A blog is just the start. I am also thinking to use chitika instead of adsense or both of them together.

I just want to know if its possible to get 100-200 uniques from g00gle and the other SE organic with a good autoblog. I am not only aiming to g00gle for my traffic, I will also try to get it from msn and yahoo.
I don't understand the importance of the keyword being in quotes("keyword") or not. When I was studying keyword research I only read about putting the keyword in quotes but no one ever talk about the overall results. How important are they?

The difference between "keyword" and keyword is that, "keyword" is exactly that phrase, however there are loads of pages which don't have keyword in that order for example there could be pages where the keyword is spread out like "key is the best word" if it is a multiple letter keyword also you have latent semantic indexing which is used in non "keyword" basically what that is is google knowing that fast means the same as quick, so if your keyword was fast chickens, then pages about quick chickens could rank for the phrase.

The main way to look for difficult competitors is allintitle:"keyword" these tend to be the pages where you will get your competition from. If that is 500K + it won't be easy to get number 1.

As for 100-200 uniques from google, then go looong tail, its easy to find keywords with 50-100 searches per month, just create 30 pages for long tail keywords, submit to social networks, a few links and you are done.

Google doesnt let the high paying ads show on new sites and especially auto blogs.

What you need a is a well aged website with a great article that has been linked to from trusted sources, has a history of conversion from clicks has a consistent flow of traffic.

You know, at the end of the day why don't you just make a site that's worth reading and has some good seo on it?

It will be easier in the long run.

I searched it as allintitle:"keyword" and I get 23,200 competitors. I think that its good. I will try my luck with a good autoblog and then I will create a few subdomains for long tail. However I won't put adsense on it now, i will wait a few weeks to get good traffic. Do you think that its a good idea?

Yea, that's exactly what I was thinking. I will give it a try and I will learn from my own mistakes. That's how this game work... trial and error

That is not what that means.... you still just SEO for the regular phrase. That just means that there are around 800,000 with that phrase in their site.


Also, I don't see why you would waste such a good niche with an autoblog. I would find a good affiliate, or cpa offer, and optimize it for that. Chances are, if people are paying 17 bucks a click, then the payout they are getting is very high. But, it could also be for some type of law firm or something. If that is the case, adsense may be the best way to go. That is, unless you can set up some type of affiliate system with the law firm, or whatever type of business it is.

Otto14, I wasn't trying to put you off just trying to be realistic, you could probably setup a half decent autoblog but don't pin your hopes on getting 5$ per day or anthing like that you are probably gonna get 1-2$. What I was trying to say was that if you really want to make the most out of what looks like a decent keyword, if you put the work in is to put high quality content up.

I am planning to start with an autoblog to test the niche and see if its profitable. If I success with an autoblog, I will expand it and I will make a complete site promoting CPA or something. The blog is just the start. It has nothing to do with law firm or anything related to that.

I understand what you wanted to say. I will put the work and I will try to make the most of this niche. I am not waiting from adsense to make me rich. As I said autoblog its just the start...

Hows about the first page SERPS? What kind of sites rank in there? How's about their authority and trust? As long as you can beat them with some long tails and the SERPS aren't just PR4+ sites you definately should stick to this. You can even use some web 2.0 sites to push your blog, just give it a try

Do you mind to tell about your content setup? Which plugin do you use for your autoblogs? I just setup my first real autoblog and still waiting to get indexed
