Anyone knows how to crack Virtual Vault?

Hi guys.
Just a quick Explo.
All virtual vault does is wrap the file in another file -poorly.
just open the "protected" file in a half decent hex editor and strip everything from the file header until you reach the begining of the file.
EG.
open file
search for !PDF as these are the most common or EXE - DOC etc.
then look for %%EOF for PDF or whatever usually the third\fourth last line of the file. delete everthing upwards of the file start and the file end save as and there's your file. PM or upload if you don't get it.

I have an .exe file inluding a pdf protected by virtual vault. The exe has built-in foxit pdf reader. Any ideas cracking that one?
I tried the hex-editor thing and found the %%EOF of the pdf but couldn't figure out what jshm2 meant with stripping out the header of the file till the start of the pdf. I mean how could i possibly know where the pdf starts when most of the file is inscrutable gibberish? So could you be a little more specific about "search for !PDF as these are the most common or EXE - DOC etc." and "strip everything from the file header until you reach the begining of the file."

I also got a ebook protected by virual vault and couldn't find out how to remove it with Hex Editor Nero, i was wondering if someone can help?

Here is the solution:
When opening the file, the file writes a tmp file to your local tmp directory. This is the file you need to rename to the original (probably .pdf) extension. Please send me msg for help.
