For all the SEO professionals on BHW, in your honest opinion, which Web 2.0 blog sites are still worth posting on? I know of a few that are still worth it:

Sorry if this is off topic but for the noobs who are planning on using web 2.0 backlinks as part of their SEO strategy remember that in order for Google to love your web 2.0s you must keep them updated with unique content as well as building backlinks to them. Doesn't that sound familiar? Yes! Because you should be treating your web 2.0s like your money site itself. Long term results will be spectacular and guess what, they will be loved by every Google update!

Totally agreed. Nothing shouts spam as much as web 2.0's with only one article, with the original theme in them. most are created by software. You go further with constantly updated web 2.0's.

So lets say I build web 2.0 sites with quality (self written) content, how many posts would I need to make it look natural for google? 3,5,...?
They are all ABC interlinked and blasted on forums, social bookmarks and niche blog comments.

Just use one Web2.0 that you like the most and put your related content on that and then link back to your money site from each article, keep adding detailed wikipedia style quality articles until you see desired results. 5-10 is good in most niches. Penguin is a page based algorithm. Dont worry about platforms or number of links, worry about getting your pages of content written well.
