My method for finding Wiki sites (and other sites for building links)

Hi all,

Over the past few months I've found some great information for my linking building efforts and I think its time to give something back.

We all know how well wiki links work for building links to your site, well here's my way of finding these links (and many other types of links too).

Ive found many webmasters posting the links to the wikis they have created on pastebin.com and a quick search reveals some:

You can see there are huge lists available for you to use, this can also be replicated for other types of links, here's a quick one for forum profiles:

Just test it yourself and mess around with different footprints, good look with your link building :)

Get a bot that will post to these wiki sites, extremephp has one for sale or there are other available for download, do a quick search and you'll find some.
 
Sneaky way to do it but sure it will work nice one. What are the footprints for scraping your own with SB?
 
Very nice idea. I grabbed a bunch of wikis, but I must have a pretty good list, out of the 45,000 I grabbed, there were only 300 new ones.

Way easier than scraping and cleaning. I am sure somone got my demo list as well =)) I had that in Pastebin.

I've not really been using this for SB although if you just see what the end of the urls that you comment on end in you can add that on, maybe something like site:pastebin.com "comment", not sure though.
 
Ive found they are if the content is good and you vary anchor text, also don't go and blast 1000 wikis to your site in the first day ;)
