What kind of backlinks are better/best?

Hey,

I have a question regarding backlinks. I've been reading that forum profiles with posts are good, bookmarks, and blog comments too, but which of these type of backlinks are best? And are there any type of backlinks that might be better too?

You should rather think how can I get a diverse link profile? By doing this you will protect yourself against G updates and it'll look more natural as well. But answering your question can be hard as you could have forum posts on posts with PR, high PR bookmarks or high PR blog niche related blog comments, so it all depends on the quality of what you have at hand.

Diversity is good, but in general you would like in-context links. So the type of links where you're reading an article and it has a link to a site. Things like blog posts (not comments) and articles are good.

I second about contextual links, they are the best in terms of quality. After that blog comment links are better if done in a correct way (avoid commenting on blogs that are already spammed to death).

Both the above posters are spot on.
Diverse and contextual links are what you want to use to build a link profile.

Contextual links drive up your ranking for specific keywords far more than a non-contextual link from a similar website would, and the diversity ensures that your link profile appears 'natural' to Google, allowing you to gain rank quickly in the SERPs and avoid penalisation

I would say you need to look for relevant sites and contribute on their sites to receive quality back links.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you want. Short term vs long term. Google traffic vs other search engines. etc

Blog commenting,social bookmarks,forum profiles are types of links which are very helpful to do SEO. But I guess that we can help you have better links like link wheel, article submission, etc.

All kinds of backlinks are good. As long as they are not spammy types.

Diversity is the key now but I felt that relevancy is important too especially when you mention blog commenting.

I couldn't have said that better myself ! Yes I agree saying that backlinks are good.But make sure you avoid doing bad spam backlinks !

you have to be aware of the bad site like porn site etc. others back-links always good for the sites

Ideally you want contextual links on genuine high quality sites. Problem with this is that it's impossible without a shit load of money.

You need to just use what's available, but just mix it up as much as you can.

Try to post quality backlinks, that mean try to make backlink on that page that contain less number of external links.
