Hey guys,I have selected a niche to work on,my source to monetize will be adsense n amazon.Please have a look at the keyword and the competition and comment what you think about it.how is the competition?Pretty easy IMO!Any advice on SEO or suggestion are welcomed. :)

Adwords results are broad,exact n phrase respectively!

I didn't got the EMD but its not there in top 20 as well! I bought 3 domains,"keyword"blog.com, .in, .co.in.

My plan in short-
Unique articles
article submission
SB blast
.edu n .gov backlinks
Web 2.0
twitter n fb promotion.

Your 2 cents would be appreciated :D thanks

Hi mate,

Just want to give you some advice, go go to google and search this:
intitle:"keyword" inurl:"keyword" and then tell us the amount of searches that appear :)

Then I would also advice on looking at the top 3 pages and their backlinks, see if they have really good ones or not.

dont mind about your competitors, just do onsite SEO ( meta title, keywords, descriptions)

and do slow and regular link building [off page seo

article marketing
profile links
web2,0 property sites
SB submission

This looks like a golden keyword.. And the competition is not heavy.. Just start with unique articles and perfect onsite seo.

For faster results i recommend to purchase a aged domain.
 
Check the ads appear on the google for that keyword. If no ads there for US not worth trying to earn from adsense though you get the traffic. Btw if you are smart you can convert them to CPA vitims.
 
Could you tell me what a software you used to get stats like this (2nd screen - SEO Analysis)?

How many words are there in KW? Is it a long tail or something like "play games" or "watch movies"?

Competition doesn't look that strong, I'd say go for it.
Do some decent on site.. Use title, meta, h1 etc... Post at least 10-20 unique 600 words articles. Make your homepage a static page and optimize it like a pro!

Then add some quality backlinks over time... Remember, link velocity is a big factor these days... Don't go mad at blasting your site...

No its not long tail..its just 1 word.

Thanks for the input buddy...currently I'm working on the articles. 10-20 would be enough?I planned to post around 40 (500-600 words) and then start link building.There are a lot of authority sites in top 20 so I think I can out rank them with on page SEO n links.Right?

Yeah the more content, the better. But I'd rather say spread everything across time. Don't go like posting 40 articles today, blasting 30k links tomorrow and then just sit back... It doesn't work.

If you have 40 articles, I'd say post 20 of them before any link building then start your backlink campaigns... then keep posting 3 articles a week until you run out of them.

And if there are authority sites out there, you will have to get some really high quality backlinks. I mean HIGH PR and mostly do-follow ones.
Its a one word KW so I'm assuming wikipedia will be there, no? :)

surprisingly..NO! :) YT,CNET etc are there...like how many high PR links would be enough? And yes I'm taking care of the speed,not over doing anything.Regulated article posting is going on,haven't started link building yet. How effective .gov n .edu links would be here?
 
I would love to see how this is going right now! Have you cracked page 1 yet? If so what tools did you use?
 
I would hit that like the fist of an angry god.. would you like to JV with me? we can take turns of blasting it 4x a month.
 
well, low adword competition means you might find problems monetizing with adsense. look for the number of the bidders and make sure there are at least 7 to 10

however seems a good keyword and easy to get.

it just total nonsense.

i never look at CPC price.

for one thing those numbers are just always wrong - it just tells you how competitive niche is. my ALL keywords are priced less than 0.10 EU, yet i always get 0.5 EU- 1.00 EU per click

secondly - ads are not displayed JUST based on content - ads are displayed based on what user wants (browsing history).
