Scrapebox and the different blog platforms explained?

Would someone explain the differences and advantages and disadvantages about when you do Wordpress, BlogEngine or Movable Type commenting?
When we should use which....? :)

(i read that it support few more, but don't even know from where to set them)

I'm not familiar with any but wordpress, so any info will be helpful

I haven't really read about any differences between the types of blogs as far as commenting goes. I have noticed in my own research that BlogEngine blogs tend to be more heavily spammed. My best guess as to why this is, BlogEngine blogs don't have as much comment moderation as Wordpress.

You can comment on any of the blogs without worrying about when to post to which type of blog.
 
One other major difference is that, by default, comment links on Wordpress are No Fo**ow whereas tey are DoFo**ow in Blog Engine - hence the popularity of Blog Engine for link building campaigns.

What about the movable type and the others then?

any other differences of that kind? Like captchas, which tend to be instant approved and so on?

When you look at usability, I have not seen any tool in the same area that is more usable than scrapebox.....
There may be more powerfull, not as usable... it's a many in 1 tool...

but need a lot more info now :)
 
I am getting lots of asian blogs using movable type so if it is a trend you might want to be careful when commenting on these. Strangely I just put some chinese characters on these (simple copy & paste, no idea what it means) and some get mod approved :D

i suggest you search in the forum, you will find a tons of info on how to build you own massive auto approve comment list, which will bebefit every wesite of yours

Maybe the moderator is not a chinese too? :p
 
So we now that Wordpress is nofollow by default
BlogEngine is do follow and seems to be on auto-approve more often?

What about movable type and the others?
 
Actually, BlogEngine used to be do f*ll*w with little if any anti-spam mechanism in place. That changed...I think in April or May of last year...they added in aki$met and turned off the ability to spam BE sites so hard, you still see a lot of BE sites that were either plundered prior to that or haven't updated yet, but these days BE is not the fertile ground it used to be.

But to go back to original point, one *huge* enhancement in sbox a few months ago was that you no longer need to pick your targeted platform - the program automagically tries to comment on anything you throw at it. So don't worry too much about the different blog platforms. WP has the largest market share, which is both a plus and a minus in terms of targetting.
 
Focus on Wordpress in my opinion and few blogengine. Blogengine are usually do--follow and have greater chance to be auto-approve. Wordpress dominates everything (quantity wise) but they tend to be no---follow

Movable is usually no -follow too and you can find higher PR but again, the auto-approve rate is low.

In general, you should have a strategy and use this tool(as all of them) to help you succeed and scale up.
