I have a small collenction of harvested blogs in wordpress was thinking about runing it through the addon and just go rid of the nofollow/unknows ones but before I do I would like to know how accurate is is? Should I remove unknowns too or just nofollows please advise.
Whats your precedure?

mine so far is

harvest delete same urls
check url pr remove anything lower than 1

I was thinking to run nofollow addon as a step 3 before comenting but before I do I would like to know how to use it properly.

In scrapebox menu click Addons > Show available addons. Find Scrapebox Do Follow/No Follow addon and install.

Inaccurate as hell. I even can't figure out main logic of scrapebox which resource is nofollow or ********.

it was just added about 2 months ago. Hopefully it will get improved as the app does itself.

Nofollow checker is inaccurate but you can't blame scrapebox. Its goods outweight the bads. One thing to keep in mind is having all ******** backlinks is worse than having all nofollow. Keep it a mixture dont remove all the nofollow or you will be in trouble by google.

out of 100 wordpress blog it didn't find any dofoll0ws for me
the most were nofoll0w, but some unknown and some even unknown platform

what i like about this plug-in is that it sorts out blogs without any comments. (cause when there are no comments it can't tell if they are do or no f0llow)
The chances are that those don't approve/review their comments at all, so it's pointless to post there.
Of course that isn't true for new posts and you are gonna miss some.

Gotta test a bit more with blogengine and movable blogs

quadratic was saying on another thread that wordpress is nofollow by default... perhaps that's why you found minimal ******** links.

The green "Do-follow" are do-follow, the red "Nofollow" are nofollow and the "Unknown" are unknown because there's no comments on the blog to analyze, comments are closed or the comments require registration.

And if that's too difficult, ignore all that and just click "Start" and when it's finished click Export >> Export all Do-follow blogs.

The ones saying it's inaccurate, could you provide any URL's marked as do-follow when they are not or vice-versa?

Since you are feeling good about the reliability of the checker sweetfunny, I suppose I try using it again.

Thanks

This addon is spot on, and you would get exactly the same results if you did the same check by hand. Don't complain about the addon if you don't know how it works, Sweetfunny has already explained the addon in detail on another thread.

It is "predicting" if the nofollow attribute will be applied to your link before that link is even left on the page, so there may be a slight margin of error on heavily customized blogs. But just as a guess the accuracy of the addon would have to be in the +95% range on what is classes as do/nofollow.

Here is 715 URL's i just scanned and are marked as do-follow, if anyone wants to open each one by hand in a browser and manually check for the presence of nofollow in the comments it would be interesting to see the outcome.

Exactly this, it is as close as it will ever get.

rarely used but not only links can be set as do or nofollow.

header can contain something like this
Code:
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="INDEX,NOFOLLOW">

and you can also specify a nofollow attribute in robots.txt

Again, Don't worry about this. the checker might target some few links as ******** when they are not. but as i said it's rarely used because ppl want their content and links to be indexed :D

I checked ******** and nofollow addon on 500 auto approve urls and guess what it shows, 0 ******** and 0 nofollow.

I'm in really doubt about the accuracy of this addon.

Were you certain they are all Wordpress blogs? How good are your proxies? I had doubts about the addon as well but since they updated it, I have had no problems. I hand checked the results, and every blog it said was d0follow, was d0follow.
