There I was creating an autoblog for my brother ....
keyword.com was taken, so I registered a prokeyword.com domain.
I also signed up for Twitter, using ://twitter.com/prokeyword
I then put WPRobot on it. Along with Twitter Tools to autotweet all posts.
That was two weeks ago. Have done *nothing* else. Niche is quite popular, and twitter account now has 50 odd followers ... all organic.
Interesting thing is that a google search for "pro key word" (it is a two part keyword, and the search is without quotations", shows the twitter account on page #1, position #3 in what is a pretty competitive market.
"key word" has over 16 million results on google
"pro key word" has over 2 million results
(both the above are searches without quotations)
Now, this is nothing, but given that google has started indexing twitter pretty quickly, and taking twitter pages seriously in SEO, this might be another way to get your 'sites' on page 1 with little effort.
All the tweets have bit.ly short urls, but all point to the domain. Not sure about LinkJuice, but anyone making their way to the twitter page, and following any of the URLs will end up on the domain.
Need to think about this a bit more, but I see potential, especially if you push the twitter page. Get loads of followers. Buy traffic to your twitter page which is effectively just a summary of the posts on your blog ... the referer for adsense would be twitter, no?
Again, I must emphasize that all I did was set up the domain, the autoblog and the twitter accounts. I am sure that this, in the hands of a more seasoned SEO pro could be quite powerful.
Oh yeah, I always turn OFF all the translation/rewrite stuff on WPRobot, so the content is as duplicate as it gets.
Might give it a go with another keyword/domain and see if the results are repeatable.
