I've created a torrent, is 30 seeds enough for me to stop seeding it? Some I created yesterday have over 70, so I'm sure I can stop seeding it and let others do the rest?

Are you using something like uTorrent? It will indicate when a particular file is "fully seeded."

Why stop? I've got exactly 719 torrents going right now.. but my best one only has 10 seeds. 70 seeds in ONE day? That's awesome dude.

I'm a beginner myself but from what I understand a "seeder" is someone who has fully downloaded a torrent and leaves it in their torrent program to "seed", or allow other users to download it from them. The more seeders, the quicker download time is and the higher the chance of completing the download

Actually, they're just some shit ebooks I threw together using SNAG IT. I just screen captured a few articles, used Nitro PDF Professional to convert them to pdf, and created a torrent. Of course, I have my affiliate links blasted all through it. I've done a few of them, too early to see any results.

Why not just leave it in Utorrent? I find that when a torrent has enough seeds(70+) There will be enough seeders that you won't be wasting much bandwidth as you will only be seeding to a few peers. So I just leave the torrent in anyways.

If you can only get 10 seeds you are doing something wrong. Upload to Mininova and ThePirateBay. 1 IP/Account + 1 Torrent/Account. Bigger files will attract a lot more peers. If you have a fast enough connection you can go into the .GB files. If not 50-200mb is a good range to grab a lot of seeds fast before your torrent is removed from mini/piratebay.

My files are all under 2 mbs big and I usually just ignore mini and TPB for the ban reasons. My upload connection isn't great, so I stick with small files. They are my own homemade exe's anyways.

If you can change your ip banning won't be a problem. What sites are you uploading to? Uploading to Mini/TPB would be worth the extra time.

Definitely upload to mininova. If they delete upload again, its worth it. I stop uploading after 30 seeds.

I haven't had the problem of being banned from MN or TPB yet.

Since you are uploading ebooks, you aren't likely to be banned.
