Hi guys, I am a web designer, I design website for clients using dreamweaver and wordpress themes.
A new client wants a website that has features like: Hotel and Airline ticketing service, eCommerce, two years hosting,
ssl certificates etc. but not willing to pay more than US$1,500 for everything.

In the process of my research I found this website that uses wp-theme: flyaero dot com

Now my question is if it is possible to achieve all these with a wordpress theme?
if yes, I would be glad to be pointed a website already successful with this type business using wp-theme.

Secondly, with this amount is it possible to get it done and still have something left?

Do I still need to purchase some other Plugins to achieve my aim?

Kindly, help me out on this issue.
    Thank you.

You may be able to purchase a site like that on Flippa "pre-built".

First, themes won't provide any functionality for specific cases, some just pack generic custom types, but for a custom development with WordPress, you better be familiar with WordPress API and PHP. For WordPress development you should be able to work with Custom Post Types, and for the eCommerce part, there's WooCommerce plugin. If you want to go a bit faster, there are premium plugins like Easy Content Types or Toolset, also consider the use of a WP Framework...not a simple theme.

Does it have to be a WP site? Can you not use something like OpenCart (or WP and OC together)?

Yes because I know much about WP than any other CMS, even though I'll not hesitate to try it with others if I stand better chance with them.
