    Hello guys,

I am receiving a $260 payment via paypal. The problem is I cannot use my real (credit card verified) paypal account because I want to stay anonymous.

So that's why I thought, why not let him send me the money on a dummy account (complete fake data) and then forward it to my real one.

Will this work with 260$ ? Have you any experience about this?

let me explain you what will happen most likely

paypal will limit your fake account with the $260 in it after you tried to send it to your real account or even before it, your real and fake accounts will be linked together, you real account will be limited too, but it's not a biggie, hence you have the documents to unlimit it, but your $260 will be sitting in your limited fake account for 180 days, after this grace period is over, you can withdraw your money to any bank account (the name you created the bank account with and the name you gave to paypal doesn't need to match)

do this only at your own risk or if you're not in a hurry to get the $260

I actually tried this the other day and it worked just fine... I did it with $200.

Sent it from PayPal (verified) to a fake account that I made about 10 seconds earlier and then sent it to another (verified) account.

Another thing that I have done is go down to the gas station and pick up a "nFinanse" prepaid DEBIT card. It's like $3 + $10 min. balance to start. Just register it online, fill it in with your information and send them ID proof.

Since this card is DEBIT.. Once registered, they will give you the account number and.. hehe.. the routing number. Of course you do not need to go into all types of details with PayPal when it comes to verifying accounts using your bank.. They just need the account/routing number. ;)

So your PayPal is verified to Stan Marsh and money can be transferred straight to your debit card.

If both of you are in the US, the sender can also send the $260 in the form of Greendot moneypak (costs $5 to get at any big pharmacy or mall). Have them email you the pin number, and you can upload the funds to Paypal instantly, and if the account is a dummy one that has already been fully verified (bank plus other stuff), anonymous.

I just made a test account (personal) the other day and couldn't send a penny until it was linked to a bank account or credit card, so highly doubt the OP will be able to send $260 anywhere after it's received without one or the other.

But as meatro said you could grab a prepaid card from the local gas station. Alternative from his idea, you could go to GoWallet.com and fill in the fake details, this will now be your fake accounts billing info. PayPal sends data to card to verify identity, GoWallet responds with info you put in, and all is good. You can even then send yourself the money from the debit card to your PayPal account now too. Or buy some beer.

Sir if you are going to use fake information you can stop right there because right now they have a system that detects fake details on account i have even spoke with a support guy from Paypal because of a problem that i had a bit time ago and he even said and explain lot more about it.
If the guy sends the payment and if you are selling something that you shouldn't online your Paypal account will get limited which means you wont be able to do anything with that account until you give proof of ID and Letter with address to confirm that account is not fake.
Then the person that is sending the money can also get limited and he will be able to proof everything that his account is legit and he will get the money back, so really i wouldn't even bother do that mate.

Thanks for your concerns, but I will try it anyway. $260 is not a big deal for me, I will spend it in the casino if it works.

Edit: also I am doing this for you guys to clear up the myths since we have had some different stories in this thread!

I am also looking forward to the result. If all is well, I will get one before the month is over.

    UPDATE:

I just received the $260. I have tried to forward it to my real account, however, this is not possible because Paypal wants me to add a Credit Card in order to send it. Adding a credit card is not possible due to fake name.

To conclude: IT DOES NOT WORK!

Now: What can I do besides sending the money back to original and tell him to send it to my real account? Also f*** paypal for their immense high fees.

EDIT: I MANAGED TO SOLVE IT. SO: IT WORKS! SEE SOLUTION IN MY NEXT POST BELOW

Okay, I now managed to transfer the money away from the fake account. Got the $260 on my real account now.

    Here is what I did:

Problem: I cannot send the money away in any way because Paypal wants me to add a credit card.
Solution: I requested a payment from my original account to my fake account. Then I logged into the fake account and payed the request (YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ADD CREDIT CARD IF YOU RESPOND TO A PAYMENT REQUEST).

    Thanks man, I just did!

Hey guys, sorry to bump this old thread but I am in much the same predicament as the OP was, except for the fact that I'm having trouble with the same solution. I'll try to lay out my problem and the steps I've taken in as simple a way as possible.

Like Hawti, I set up an account in a fake name over 180 days ago and I've had $155.00 just sitting in there since then because my account is "limited."

I tried the solution mentioned, but when i tried to pay the invoice that I sent my fake account from my real account, it still wanted me to verify my fake account with a credit card.

Will getting a prepaid debit card to link to my fake account work? If so what kind of information do I need to include when registering the prepaid debit card so that I can get the limit on my fake account lifted?

Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated! And sorry to beat a dead horse.

Good luck doing this paypal will limit you within a few weeks... trust me, i have had this done to me myself and have seen 50+ people post on other forums about doing this.. then they come back a week later and rage on the thread that they was limited.. just a warning.
