Well heres my experience , the niche i was promoting was autoparts....
818 clicks - $450.00 in fees to facebook
    $140.00 in sales X my 10% commission = $14.00
I'll chalk this one up as a learning experience , mabey try with a different niche.

Lots of people cloak on facebook these days. The stupid intern approval dept is really wonky. So the idea is to show them one offer and the traffic the other. You can sometimes change them on the fly too. But yeah, its really hard to get any good ads approved that get over 0.1 ctr. FB hates rebill and outrageous claims, which if you're running CJ you probably won't find too many anyway.

With CJ you're probably dealing with physical products so I'd set up a "store" type layout and then at checkout you can redirect or whatever.

I've read an article about facebook ads, statistics, and they weren't very positive , even for big box retailers. They described the way they had their advertising set up not current with today's trends, and that most people don't log into facebook when they want to shop online. The best strategy for any business is word of mouth, so when people see that their friends "like" a page on facebook, that would be a lot more effective, then any type of "banner" ad no matter how well the text was written or how well it was placed on the page. To facebook it doesn't matter they rake it billions of dollars annually from businesses willing to take the gamble and invent in their adds.
