i understand if i have many different accounts, why i would need proxies.
but if i just have 1 main account , and i want to run multiple Follow tasks ( just 20 follows per task ) simultaneously.. would i still need proxies?

i assume TWitter would see it as 1 person logged into 1 computer following VARIOUS people. ( possibly with multiple browser instances open with the same account )

    Will this get me banned?

or should i just simply do 1 task at 1 time?

and if i need a proxy..where can i find the BEST private ones for locations in NYC or SF.

    thanks!

If you have 1 account, how can you have multiple tasks..Please clarify your question.

If you are only using 1 account, you don't need proxy and you should not get banned unless you do something very stupid like excess follow, DMs etc.

Using one single Twitter account, you are going to look much more natural to Twitter if you stick to 1 IP address. So no proxies!

The only reason you would ever want proxies for Twitter is if you're using multiple accounts, and don't want them connected with each other in any way.

Any actions you perform as that one Twitter account will by definition be connected to each other anyway, so splitting the actions up between proxies will just look weird.

TD allows me to run multiple simultaneous follow tasks from just 1 account like this:

myaccount || Task = Follow Other Users Following || user_1
myaccount || Task = Follow Other Users Following || user_2
myaccount || Task = Follow Other Users Following || user_3

i have it following a list of users of a TW handle. ( just 20 per handle )

I just want to make sure i can run all follow tasks at the same time ( just following 20 per task ) ,
this way it seems that i'm following various random TW user's and not just the followers of 1.

ALSO - I have another potential issue.
I have 1 marketing person in NYC managing the TW account, and another in Brasil.
I also have the TDemon running on a VPS server in Germany ( no proxies )
    * is this going to raise flags? *
we are doing about 600 follows/daily ( using the technique above )
along with retweets, normal tweets, all the normal stuff.

Should i migrate to a VPS server in NYC?

    thanks!

It will be come a issue ONLY if one of the IP is flagged on Twitter then any accounts associated with that IP will most likely be banned.

If you are running all follow tasks at the same time, how are you managing the interval between following other users
i.e. only follow 1 person across all the tasks in say 10 seconds ensuring that you are emulating what a human would do while following.

Twitter does have a limit on following too fast ( or rather the rate of activities done in a set amount of time )
So, if you break that limit, algos may mark your account as spam.
As long as you are managing it fine, there shouldn't be any problem with your account.

If you are already doing 600 follows/daily and still the account is alive, then the chances of it getting suspended are real low.

Are both marketing person running the account through VPS i.e. with the server in Germany.

Normally, twitter suspends the account if there is an IP change especially at country level
e.g. one creates an account using US proxy sitting in UK , if one forgets to access the account through a US proxy, chances of it getting suspended are high.
So, would advise against moving the account to a US server.

It is absolutelly bad idea to run multiple tasks on one account simultaneously. It's very unnatural behavior, twitter will spot it and probably suspend your account.

i set it up to follow 15-25 users per task.
the time interval is 15-30 sec. for each task.
    * right now it is doing tasks 1 at a time.. sequentially with 5-15min delay between tasks

    is that ok?

Our marketing guy is logging in with no proxy from their NY location..
and marketing person#2 logging in from UK + the VPS running tasks from germany.

Im afraid that TW will see us using the account from 3 different countries, germany showing more volume.

what can i do RIGHT NOW to lower our risk?

    THANKS EVERYONE for your advice.
