Ok guys so i dont know if anyone is willing to help me but i hope someone does, here's the story.
Lik e a year ago i wanted to rent a place to live, i went over to have a look and we agreed i could rent the house.
The person asked for a first deposit and they gave me there id card for insurance . Well the next day i went over to sign the contract and gues what the person was not there... But i saw a couple waiting nearby and we started talking and the person did the same to them so a pure SCAM , But i got the persons original id card. I hate cops so i will not press charges i want to make her pay myself.

Can anyone help me in what to do to get payback and keep something after ?

Hope someone can help me get back at her .

    Greets

What makes you think that those are goverment issued cards and not fakes?
They couldn't be that stupid to give you their real ids when they're trying to pull a scam.

Well trust me it's real. it's a dutch id card and i checked everything. compared it to my own and every, i mean every security feuture is there so it's 100% real.

I still dont know why she gave me the id but she made 800 euro's so i gues she did not care about it and was not thinking about me talking action someday with it.

Blackmail? Sounds great. You blackmail them, then they blackmail you about you blackmailing them and voila, you're in deeper shit than you started out in.

Take them to court and get them arrested for fraud. Depending on country, it could even be illegal to furnish a counterfeit ID if it is counterfeit. Even more jail time. If you think making them pay $1k or $2k more is more hurtful than a few years in jail, think again.

haha Legal action is definitely the way to go on this one. And Zapdos is right, jail would be way worse for them.

Well i live in holland . There have been stories on the news of people scamming like 30+ people and they get a few months probation. in this country of it's not a big crime it's worth it to make money.
they also was astory of someone steeling millions and he got 2 years, minus 1/3 by good behavior thats 16 monthes making millions . it's nothing compared to the states where you will get alote bigger sentence.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun.

    A simple advise: Don't.

If you fell into that old scam you don't have what it takes to do this and not get caught. No offense intended.

EDIT: FYI, those cards can be printed and bought. It is probably real as it doesn't matter if you have that card or not, but still.
