phpmyadmin to copy posts from one site to another?

So I have 2 WP sites all set up on my server and I no longer own the domain. These are adult tube blog sites. I want to copy the posts from these now dead sites into another wordpress tube blog I am running on another domain in a different database.

    Is this possible through phpmyadmin?

    If so please explain how?

Yes, it's possible. You have to export the old WordPress database into an sql file. Then import that sql file into the phpmyadmin of the new sites.

This will export ALL the tables. If you just want to export the posts then you only have to export the post and the post meta tables.

There's plenty of sites that have guides and visual aids. A quick search in google should bring up some good results.

It's as easy as selecting the two tables, then scrolling down and clicking export.

Search for a guide from "web kreation" (I can't post urls yet). It takes you through all the steps needed. This guide migrates the whole site, not specifically posts. I'm not sure if it's safe to migrate only select tables as it could cause some relationship problems.

I take no responsibility if anything happens to your sites. I'd recommend backing up everything before you attempt anything.

Since you are speaking of using PHPMyAdmin that means that you still have access to the site. Just use the multi site export feature of Wordpress. It will download a small file to your computer. You then import the file into your new site, and Wordpress will get the files and set up the database.

It's the easiest way if you have access to your wp-admin.
