if you plan to post daily clips and want the algorithm to favor your posts, what is the best method? An aged account or new account? The account will have a verified email and verified number, it will also have verified blue tick..

So what is the best option out of these two? Aged or new?

An aged account generally performs better since it carries prior trust and behavioral history, but ensure it’s clean with consistent activity; new accounts can still grow fast if content quality and posting rhythm are strong from the start.

When you're trying to get the algorithm to favor your posts on platforms like Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok, the age of the account isn’t necessarily the biggest factor though it can play a role in building credibility over time. More important is how you approach content creation, engagement, and consistency.

Of course, an old account. Twitter's algorithms are such that an old account will have more credibility than a new one.

When you say old account, how old is it? Are accounts that are 6 months or 1 year old considered old?

Aged account, always.
The algorithm trusts established history more than any verification badge. The blue tick helps credibility, but it doesn't override the trust signals from account age and past engagement

An aged account usually performs better algorithms favor accounts with history, consistent activity and engagement patterns. A new account can work if it’s verified and handled carefully but building trust and reach takes longer

Even a relatively new account can perform well if you maintain consistent posting, genuine engagement gradually build authority though older accounts do have a slight algorithmic advantage.

I think an aged account is ideal for this use case if your goal is reach. However, you should also have a separate media account where you upload the “clips,” and then embed them from your main account. That way, if (for example) a DMCA strike occurs, your main account remains protected.

A new account with verified credentials and consistent posting can gain rapid algorithmic favor because it starts with a clean engagement profile and fewer historical limitations

I’d choose an older account for sure. X trusts it more, fewer captchas, higher limits, etc

Aged is better, and if it's related to the niche you want, even better.

Aged accounts definitely have an advantage. At that point, you’re usually no longer under close scrutiny from the platform, so posting feels more flexible. Once the system trusts your account, content tends to get reviewed and distributed faster. Even if a new account has a blue check, it’s still new in terms of account history and activity. It still needs proper warm-up before you start posting regularly.

Definitely an aged account, it'll just lead to way less scrutiny.
