Wicked Article Creator uses and format of:
    IP:port:username:password

Does this mean I will have to buy proxies to use this thing? I only paid $42 bucks for a year, but if I have to pay for proxies I am going to be unhappy. If it gets really bad I may even shed a tear and stamp my foot on the ground once or twice, but only if it gets really, really bad.

Anyway, what do I need to do to fix this problem so I can figure out if I even like this software?

    Thanks for considering my predicament.

    hi,

    the format is :

    IP:port;username;Password

Also you can buy proxies from any site. You just have to add the proxies like this. Also the problem of proxies will be solved in 2.6 when i will be adding like 14 more sites to the scraping list. Your proxies would work longer then.

    Patience for 1 week.

    Regards,

you can purchase private proxys, just search proxys and a heap will come up on here. Or you can search for public ones, but the public ones are generally slow and have a limited life.

    You basically have two choices,

1). "Public proxies" these can be found just about everywhere (forum here, hidemyass etc.), sometimes you get lucky and find a fast one, if you're really lucky it might stay fast for a few hours or days. Sooner or later it will get burnt out and you'll have to move on. If you're going this route you will spend time collating/updating/testing proxy lists.

    or,

2). "Private/Shared proxies" yes you have to pay for them but if you get a good supplier you will set your proxy list once and then forget about it. I'm using shared proxies from "unr3al", and massively rate them.

You can use free ones(search them) or private proxies(recommended).

I would go with 10 private proxies which will cost like $10 per month.
