google penalized affiliate links is it true?

    Hi,

    I want to know if google penalized all the website those have affiliate links then how we can promote affiliates?

    You can review the affiliate websites guidelines in google webmaster help

    Google penalized the affiliates who still builds sites as if it was 2009. If you want to keep your site for long term, learn to provide some form of value for your visitors. However, if you're just looking to rank and then ditch the site for a new one each update, then it doesn't really matter how you build it. (to a degree)

    And yes, I have received penalties for "too many" affiliate links before. I removed the links and the site bounced right back. Keep in mind though, most people are penalized just because they're site sucks, not because of affiliate links.

    Another thing that I used to confuse is cloaking..

    Google hate page cloaking, but link cloaking/redirect is okay.

    Cloaking is a good idea so that people don't strip your ID from the end of it. It's also good to cloak your links if you have one of those long and unattractive links.

    I dont think so clocking is not a good idea at all, I want to promote good affiliate in good manner and want to run my website for long time..
