    Hey guys,

With so many "Journey" threads around, and so little actual "Success" threads, I thought I'd finally get around to writing up my own.

So I've been a member on BHW since September 2009. It wasn't until 2012 that I started making any kind of money online.

I started making websites in 2005. I was very, very nooby at this, and wanted to make a Gameboy Advance rom website, since I saw one online and thought it'd be sweet to make one myself. I spent months learning basic CSS and HTML - and finally got around to creating the website.
It flopped. Hard. In spite of this, I was determined not to give up. So I purchased vBulletin, and spammed the crap out of a ton of gaming sites. This lead to me having (after 2 years), thousands of members, (hundreds being active everyday). However, I was only making around $1 per day. This lead me to another idea: Gamers love watching TV/Movies online. Why not make a place they can watch all their series on?

Fast forward another year. 2008. I had recently signed up to Digitalpoint, and was offering some Yahoo Answers services there (making around $100/week). This was taking up my entire day. Every day. My streaming site was making $3/day and it was mostly on autopilot. Then, something happened (personal problem), and I needed some quick cash. So I sold my streaming site for $1,500 and managed to pay for said problem.

Now, here came another idea. If I could get that much money from selling websites; why not make and sell more? So what did I do? Made another streaming site. This was in 2009. As I started working on it, I wondered why it wasn't taking off. That's when I found out that most websites' traffic comes through search engines. So after getting some free SEO on Digitalpoint, coupled with some pretty crappy paid SEO, my site started ranking finally. Although it never held a position. This got me looking for alternate sources of backlinking information.

Fast forward to September 2009. I joined BHW and there were "money making" threads everywhere. I was so excited: I can finally start making thousands of dollars online! .. which I didn't. I continued placing up series on my streaming website, while browsing BHW for hours every day. I read so many threads, went through so many methods, but in the end, I never got around to trying any of them. This resulted in me losing a whole year of time. I know, that's ridiculous, but I was 19 and had no experience. I even went as far as to purchase plenty of eBooks on Digitalpoint regarding "how I make $5/day!" etc. Was a bad time for me.

Now we're in late 2010. I get kicked out of my 1 bedroom apartment. I got nowhere to live; no car, no home, just my little sister, my PC and my cat. I ended up going to a caravan park and living out of a caravan for several months, before I decided I was done reading, and wanted to try actually getting this streaming site to go somewhere. I started building profile backlinks, bookmarks from Digg and the like, and got my streaming site earning $5 per day. That, coupled with what I was getting from the government was enough to go out and rent another apartment.

Fast forward to late 2011: I've been using the same form of backlinking all year. Bookmarks, Article directories, Profiles, and Directory submissions. This got my streaming site up to $15 per day. I thought that wasn't too bad, as it was more than I could get outside. (dropped out of highschool in year 9.)

After several long (hard) months, MegaUpload/MegaVideo went down. It just so happened that all my videos were hosted on Megavideo. So in an attempt to save what little traffic I could, I got my little sister (and cat) to help me replace series with mirrors from Putlocker, Novamov, and other video sharing websites. Each series we replaced, we exported to a second streaming website I made to keep track of fixed series. After several more months, when we had a lot of our series replaced, I was shocked to see the new site was outranking my old site. It was making $20 per day itself. That was $30-$35 per day! I was quite excited, so went on to BHW to see what I should invest that into.

I ended up choosing an adult streaming website, against many negative recommendations telling me not to do so. It was hard, especially since in 2011/2012 is when Profile backlinks stopped being a miracle ranker. But, using some good manual blog posts and Web 2.0 services from BHW (Seo_Lover and Leith), I managed to get my adult site up to 40,000 unique views per day. Around this time, I changed ads on my streaming websites and managed to get them from $30-$35 per day to $100-$150 per day. I couldn't believe how stupid I was, using such crappy ads. My adult site then began earning aruond $50 per day itself. This was great. I was at $200 per day, could afford things for my little sister, my cat and myself. And so I invested some money into more backlinks from BHW.

I won't list what they were as most the services I used in 2012 aren't updated anymore. However, I will list the services I have used in 2013 at the end of the post.

Fast forward to 2013: I now have several streaming websites, each one being backlinked and worked on every day. I also have several adult websites, each one being backlinked and worked on. They're streaming websites, so they don't need tons of unique content. Most of them have several articles regarding their niche only. For example: "What are good Romance Movies?" with a 600-2,000 word article. I post an article on each site once every.. month or 2. They're also earning me over double what they originally were.

So here are some methods I've used in the past year to get double the amount of websites ranking:

    - Aged domains. I've gotten several year old domains, had some articles created for them, then started backlinking them. I leave them for several months, while exporting 10-20 series per day onto them, slowly getting the series and episodes indexed. I did this with several domains at a time.
One service in particular that I've found incredibly useful in a site's early age is sarkark21's Sherlock Hacks Google. Use it on your site when it's new. It works wonders. After a month, or whenever you're happy doing it, use foodtrip's Social Bookmarking service to backlink your homepage, along with 10-20 internal URLs. Make sure to use 10-20 generic keywords with it. Try not to target your main keyword with social bookmarks.
    - Redirects. After doing the above, and letting the aged domains remain live for 2-3 months, I redirect them to a much nicer, researched, keyword-rich URL. I then purchase sarkark21's Sherlock Hacks Google service once again, to get the new URL picked up, and then proceed to use foodtrip's Social Bookmarking service a second time. This is to make sure none of sarkark21's or foodtrip's backlinks have fallen off in the last 2-3 months, and to make use of any new website's they've added into their service.
    - Strong backlinks. In the last 6 months, I've made great use of specific backlinking services. I use them over and over. I'm currently spending a large sum on backlinks every month. What services are they? Please see below.

Badass SEO - Great for targetting multiple keywords for diversity, and your main keywords.
Speed Rank - I've recommended t0mmy's service multiple times over the last few months, because they've done amazing things for my websites. These should be targetted at 1-3 of your main keywords.
Sherlock Hacks Google - Great for both your main keyword, and eyword diversity. One of the best services I've found on BHW at the present!
Social Bookmarks - foodtrip's bookmarks are amazing at providing generic keyword diversity for your website, and deeplinks. Recommended to use every month or two!
Lady GaGa Google Rider - Great link diversity. Social signals are also a plus, as when used with a strong backlink campaign, they can do wonders.
MarketMongoose - The link diversity provided by MarketMongoose is fantastic. They also provide generic keywords to go along with your main keywords, so they should always be at the top of your list! (even though I listed them near the bottom! lol)
Doc Power Pack - Keyword diversity. Should be used several months into your campaign.

These backlink services along won't get you where you need to be. If you have the right kind of (aged, redirected!) domain, with some good, high quality content, you can literally rank for some insanely hard to rank for keywords. I do. Some keywords I rank for I never imagined I would be able to. What is this due to? Hard work, patience, and taking initiative. If I'd started earlier, I may well be earning double what I am now. But I can safely say that in the next year, I'm going to attempt to hit the $1,000 per day goal, through hard work, initiative, and some amazing BHW service providers.

Please feel free to leave any questions below, and I'll try as hard as I can to answer them! Screenshots of my earnings will not be posted, because I have nothing to prove. I'm just hoping to help some other BHW users take initiative and get motivated, so they can start their journey to making a living online!

Thanks for reading! Happy earning everyone!

Amazing story man, I don't think people really understand the struggles and hardship someone goes through before they reach the point of success(including me). I just started doing affiliate marketing full time and before I was waking up at 8am every day and working on my projects until noon then going to my horrible day job for 8 hours coming home and doing more work until 3 in the morning.

It is very important not to forget what position you were in in 2009. Ever. That feeling of wanting to be where you are now. Knock 20% of your income off and put it in a savings account (something you have easy access too but the discipline not to touch) work with the 80% you have with whatever you are doing.

After a few years your mind explodes from looking at what is banked. Never touch it. Keep that incase your universe explodes and all your income streams suddenly (for whatever reason) disappear.

    You will thank yourself.
Take a moment to remember the past.

Congrats on your success! Don't forget what you went through! I keep myself motivated every day by pinning the checks I get through internet marketing on the wall above my computer to remind me to never go back to pushing carts at target again.

I am wondering what ur purpose of creating content and BL on ur aged domains?? is this necessary if you would redirect these aged domains to ur money site later?? do u just redirect all to the homepage of money sites? or as well as those inner pages?? For another, what u said "while exporting 10-20 series per day onto them, slowly getting the series and episodes indexed" what is that supposed to mean?? hope u can explain more on ur aged domain method! thanks a lot in advance! :))

Nice!! I actually logged onto BHW to get some motivation and maybe find a method to use. I'm in a bad situation where I am about to lose everything - from my wife to the apartment that we live in. It's the end of the month and I'm a couple hundred dollars short on rent, so this kind of motivation is exactly what I needed to see! Good job! ;)

Very inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing the services that helped you climb the ladder of success. I'm going to be using this thread when I make my next decision about what service to buy. I recently purchased the Lady Gaga SEO Service, hoping it can "do wonders"!!

I have. I ended up realizing after many failures that constantly swapping methods in hopes that one would be "lucky" and would earn me big bucks would be pointless. Sticking with a single method, even after losing all my videos, was what allowed me to get where I am today.
Also, if you're going to spend money on backlinks, I recommend at least some of the ones I posted above. They're some of the very best, highest quality on BHW. I'll keep the thread updated with other good services/providers as I try them.

It's true. I see so many people changing their methods all the time trying to find that lucky method that'll change their lives. They've likely already found it, more than once, but never put enough effort into pursuing it far enough to have it turn into what they want.
Thank you for your support. I hope I reach it soon as well! :]

Keep at it! Pick several methods, then stick with the single method that you find you can do best. Don't stop pushing as hard as you can, not even once you've gained success. It can all vanish in a moment!

If it helps even a handful of people, then I've given back and done my part. I never received much help when I needed it, but there were always threads with helpful information around, which was more than enough.

Thank you! I hope you have success yourself!

Oh trust me. With Google's updates, I'll continue making more and more websites in the same and similar niches. Different hosts, registrars, etc., though, as I need backups in case one of my sites get hit by an update.

I'm saving a decent part of it, don't worry. :] Thank you for the advice, though!

I'll never forget what myself or my family had to go through to get here. I have a portfolio of earnings for every month since I've started. If I start slacking off, I simply take a look at what I used to make, and what I used to have. That's as much motivation as I need.

I read them all the time. It's good to see people motivated enough to document their attempts.

It is. People always end up giving up too early. There should never be a point when you give up. There's always a way to make money.

    Thank you very much! :]

    Sure. Here's what I meant:

I buy several aged domains. They're already nice and powerful. I install Wordpress onto them, and have my coder make me a custom theme for it. I then start importing 10-20 categories per day from my streaming websites, until I end up having hundreds, if not thousands of series/categories and episodes/posts. I then begin backlinking the homepage and series/category pages, while deeplinking series/categories. This way, they start ranking in Google. I continue backlinking and importing for several months, until all the series are ranking on page 1-3. I then 301 redirect the aged domain, with backlinks, and series/categories and episodes/posts to my new domain, which is several months old (since I buy them at the same time I get the aged domains.) These domains though are much better, have the keyword(s) I want to target in the domains (Not EMD!) So all my series/categories and episodes/posts are 301'd to the same URL on the new domain. I then begin backlinking that domain, and after a month or 2, the rankings are significantly higher than the aged domain had, due to the backlinking on both domains + age + the aged domains rankings before the 301.

Thank you! Hopefully one day you have your own!

That is horrible! I got to the point where I was kicked out due to not being able to pay rent. Don't let yourself get there!

It does! And there's nothing stopping anyone else from pursuing their method hard and strong!

Well, I could've started a live journey to $1,000 per day, but I would much rather people see what I came from and how I'm doing. And try not to get into the same situation.

Thank you! Hopefully it inspires other people in the same situation, or worse, to push hard and not give up! It's not always quick and easy. Sometimes it takes years! But, you'll always get there.

No problem. Just remember that no service "alone" will ever push you far enough. It's always good to vary your backlinks and spend that bit extra.
