Excel help! How to extract homepage domains?

    Hi,

    I got a list of domains eg. example.com/examplepage

    I only want a list of the homepage, so in this case that would be example.com

    Is there any way I can extract the bit after the .com using excel?

    If you have scrapebox you can do it by using the trim to root function

    there should be a string split function in excel. http://example.com/bla , split that by '/' then you have http: example.com bla and you only take the second

    Yeah once I split it, then how to I get rid of the second part? The part after the .com?

    Ok I found a solution. For those who also want to know, I just copy and pasted into this website:
    seoweather.com/trim-urls-to-root-domain-standardise-urls-prefixes/
