I've been doing a method where i get certain people to email me. Is there a way to scrape all of these email addresses and put in a .txt file or something? I couldn't find any kind of bot for it.

Yea no problem man. I'm actually working on an extractor right now so I've been doing some research on what's available now and what's not. Glad I could help.

What do you mean? If you're talking about that program, you just input your Gmail account information and it will extract the email addresses, names, subjects, and dates of the emails in your Gmail inbox.
Right now I'm writing a program to extract emails from any email account that works with POP3 or IMAP (and it will work with multiple accounts). I'm not going to go into great detail about it yet because it's not finished but it's going to be a step up from everything else I've seen out there so far, so be on the lookout for that in the coming month :)

if u can program, u can write a gmail extractor yourself pretty easily

all the email addresses are in the page source code when you view your inbox, you just have to parse them out :)

hexalor wrote an extractor about a year ago and from what i've used it is the fastest, smoothest operating gmail inbox scraper i've seen. very fast even on huge inboxes. http://webmailextractor.com/

I just wrote something that might fit along these lines, it uses IMAP and can be quite slow at times, but if anyone's interested just PM me. It's set up right now to browse through each message and search for a targeted word/phrase, and if found it sends a canned message back to the sender. I can change this to not autorespond if needed, or log the emails to a file, save to DB, whatever the need I can tweak...PM....
