Hey guys, so I recently ranked my site for some keywords, and I'm doing pretty well :D. The thing is, I'm n°2 in the first page of google right now IF I use Google Chrome, but when I use IE or Safari, it takes me to the 2nd page of Google. It's weird to me, I mean, I'm kinda new, but still, IE gets a great part of the whole traffic, since Google Chrome is the most used, but combined Firefox and IE, I think they beat it's ass.
Plus, I don't think web browsers should affect your ranking, I thought it was more like "country based" kind of thing.

Well, does anyone know why this happens?

I really looked for this question here in the forum, but couldn't find a thing.

Woow! Really interesting! I just read the first post and decided to give it a shot signing in my Google acc in IE. It showed the exact same results as in Chrome! So it depends if you are signed in Google, or not and stuff like that, but really doesn't depend of the browser.
Thank you :) that really helped me to understand what it was about.

PS: I erased the links in the quote because bhw sent me a notification that it was spamming for not being a member long enough

Try using Incognito in Chrome and "Private Window" in Firefox - they'll throw the same results.

might be personalized search too. if that is on, a site you've been to a lot will start to show up near the top.
