I got my account banned in the very beginning of paypal. Like 01-02.

I would like to open a paypal account for my ecommerce website which we sell actual products for cheap ($2-$10)

I have a merchant account but I already know, people prefer paypal.

How can I get a paypal account but not have them link it back to my old banned account. I do not want to put in someone elses name because I do not want to split any $$

If you have any ideas, please let me know.

my fear is I KNOW its a possibility that my customer will prefer Paypal over GC and credit cards. They will probably max out the $5k limit in 1 month and paypal will ask if this is a business. Bank accounts, credit cards, documents and ID's

This was done to a friend of mine. Then Im fucked

Trying to make this a account that last. Even if it does good money, I need it to survive for 1-2 years min.

    Any other suggestions?

You may want to think about opening a LLC and then use your EIN instead of your SSN.

I have heard that they will still ask for a SSN even on a LLC. You might have to use a relatives SSN if this happens. But at least you have control of the money through your LLC.

The only other way is to do like Luffy 12 said. Knowing that you will be limited at some point and will have to do it again. If you do this withdraw the money out daily.

It has been my experience though that as soon as you start transferring more than $300 per day thye will limit your account.

Use VCC or even a (fake) Bank Account with fake details.
It won't last long but if you don't have much money in there and keep getting it out it should be fine (leaving no more than like $300 in there so your not in tears when it gets limited)
Launder the cash through friends accounts and get them to give you the cash or buy products online like Gift Cards, Visa Debits, eBay whatever you want that you could use or resell in real life.
Or just get the money in paypal converted over to a laxer processor like Liberty Reserve and let it sit there until you can do a LR -> Bank transfer.

The facts are that if you have been previously limited/banned signing up with your old details is pretty much just a bad idea.

I do not want a account that will last for a month. Withdrawing large amounts daily draws red flags

PS: In case some of you dont know, when your account is limited, you can not withdraw or transfer money.

Trying to make this account last. Any other ideas?

Screw Paypal, its only an option now a days...... 2-3 years ago I can understand your concern but now,, if you have a good product or service the IC ((internet Community ) in its totality doesnt give a good flip ..... If I were you I would go with other methods and keep it moving and not get stuck on paypal.... paypalsucks

Yeah you're right, if your account is limited the money is stuck, however after 180 days you can withdraw it. If you need a new account fast search the forums for Paypal Code, good tips in there on setting up accounts after being banned. But if you want your account to last you are going to eventually need a social... as mentioned earlier sign up with an LLC & EIN, and use somebody elses SSN.

You could keep creating new throwaway accounts, you can get away with close $5-$10k before they require a social. Ditch that account and get a new one... but if you are burning through accounts fast you should really look into getting your own merchant account - use that as your primary form of payment. Make paypal the LAST resort for those who demand it. Otherwise try something like propay.com, I use them and they work great.

The above advice for maintaining or restoring a PP is good for the interim, but eventually the onerous hoops it puts you through will make it as cumbersome/invasive as traditional banks or merchant accounts. We should all be prepared to port over to the latter (or some other alternative) in the next 2 years.

You are probably not even in their system anymore. PayPal didn't require social security numbers back then, and nobody put theirs in. My advice is to get a dropbox or use a friends address. I assume your phone number has likely changed since then.

Just change around the last four digits of your social in case you need to.

Since you already have a merchant account, once you start making money then I recommend getting PayFlow Pro.
