So back in the day i use to be all over the satellite TV hacking screen, but I've been out of the loop for years now and I'm lost. I know THIS site to be legit and helpful when it comes to skirting the rules, so since all my Google searches for a legit DirecTv hack forum have ended in vain i thought i would ask if anyone could point me in a helpful direction?

    Thanks in advance,

    ~peace~

Google "Free To Air Hack" (FTA) should find everything you need. :D

And if your lookin to buy a receiver, go with the "Sonicview 360 Elite" it's the bomb :)

Been using it for over a year now.

Cheap and beats the pants of many other top end boxes, retails about $199.

don't buy any receivers except for NFusion because of it's IKS capabilities. Currently BEV is down all other receivers and DN is in the process of doing the same. It's a safe bet to go with NFusion.

Nfusion is the "ONLY" FTA receiver that can decode BEV at this time, and of course DN!

    I get programming 24/7 - Gratis!!! hehehe

"FTA" Aint goin' nowhere Bro....Nag3 is coming yes, but that's only if your borrowing "Charlie's" signal ;)

    True "FTA" isn't going away....

But from what I know, Nag3 has already been cracked by a group in Europe, and They won't release it till Charlie finishes they're change-over. So It won't be down for long.

So what hardware do you think is the most stable? I'm talking long term not get zapped by DTv or become obsolete in general. Satellite PCI Card or a receiver box? Also i have 2 HD Tv's and while getting all the free channels i will deferentially want those as well, especially the NFL package. At the moment i have 2 rooms in the house with paid for DTv boxes,.. possible would like to do a 3rd rooms in the near future so I'm thinking boxes would be the way to go. Is it possible to use the H20 and HR20 boxes i have?

Nag3 hasn't been cracked in Europe. It has been a lie to get sales. It has been over a year now in Europe and no crack.
If you don't own any don't buy yet and wait it out.
as far as Nfusion it is the only one that is working but it is only a matter of time they will shut this down.
How Nfusion works is that it is a card sharing system. meaning someone subscribed legally and sharing it through a server that Nfusion owners can connect to.
Direct TV has not been cracked for years now. There might be a fix soon and there might not 99%.
So DON"T BUY YET. wait it out.

i know of someone who has a DTv box that's getting all the channels, paid 350 for the box and got some program for his computer and thumb drive to update it if it goes down, so you're wrong on that front lumpia. Also many years ago when i was into this everyone liked to say "don't buy yet" and "wait it out" back then too, well those who don't get it did,.. i have no illusion that there will never be a time when all is secure on this front. So can anyone actually reply to the questions i asked?

IMHO the best way related to price/quality/time to spend is getting a decoder allowing any kind of cardsharing and join a sharing group (paying some bucks for it or sharing you own card). Not sure if it would work with Direct TV, but for sure is working for the whole European satellite platforms.

And about HD Decoders, I'm so happy with my Dreambox 800HD

    mrgrowpro.

That is not DTV he has, it is called Dish network. DTV has been dead for years. NO crack since they upgraded their system.
I am not holding you to buy. Do it if you want but I am telling you right now, it is up in the air the future of FTA.
There are true FTA channels but it isn't much. for the last 6 to 7 years it has been good but the providers have stepped it up.
It is not over but it is almost over.

8 years dude. trust me. wait it out.

Eventually, they(FTA folks) will try and crack this thing because it is big business but it will take from 6 months to years.
Just don't buy a door stop worth 350 bucks right now.
