Today, I was upgraded to 5 stars on Textbroker. I open up the jobs and we have Sears providing jobs. The rate is 300 words = $15. Amazing, isn't it?

My profile consists of 65 articles with 100% success rate. 28 of these are 3 stars and the rest are 4.

My suggestion to BHW members looking to make some big cash on Textbroker is to be very very patient with your writing. I only took jobs that I thought I could do well on. That means checking the job list every few days and only writing jobs with a topic that I was interested in. Also, be very careful with your punctuation and word choice. Write clearly and proofread. In that sense, being a native English speaker helps a lot, but it's definitely not impossible if you're not a native speaker.

With that said, I wouldn't rely on Textbroker to be your main source of income. I only looked to Textbroker when I didn't have any jobs lined up for me (I only write to fund domain purchases, hosting payments, service payments, etc. for other projects) at DigitalPoint. Writing at DP, Warrior, or even here at BHW will get you more articles at once and it'll be an easier way to get cash.

Again, focus on providing quality content for your clients. It gives you a better chance at continuing work. Also, in the end, you can make WAY more money by doing things other than content creation. Selling your articles straight up $1/100 or something is pretty much hard labor. You'd be better off using your developed writing skills in building your own authority site or pumping out lots of articles to send out to article directories. Until you get 5 stars where the real money is at, don't rely on it.

For textbroker, you work whenever you want to work. For regular content creation for clients you seek out yourself, I only bumped my author thread on DP whenever I needed money in my paypal.

Congratulations, that's very impressive. I hope to make it to level 5 someday but my writing is going to need improvement.

    That's solid dude.
TB has been slacking so hardcore on rating my articles. I was a 4 but got a few 3s and went down.

They only rated 3 of my 59 articles in the last month. There was a 4 in that batch, so hopefully there are a lot more on the way that can bring me up to the 5 club with you.

Try The Content authority, it's not too hard to get into. Only problem is the pay is pretty poor $0.7/100 until you move up into the higher tiers, although you only need to write 5 good articles per tier to be reviewed.

I think demand studios take non-us and pay quite well though, something like $15 a pop.

The 2 and 3 star assignments on textbroker seem to have dried up recently, you have to keep refreshing to catch the occassional assignment, and even then you might be too late! It seems a lot of writers have left Demand Studios because of recent changes there, and they've showed up like locusts on TB, snapping up all the low rated job, blechhh!

Oh, and content authority isn't hiring new writers at this time, according to their website.

    Cubecul,

Did you have to take the proof-reading exam to get moved up?

    Thanks,

The things is though when you compare $1/100 words to a higher wage you can sometimes make more writing for $1/100. A lot of the time the standards are too high for the higher wage, and they can therefore take you forever to complete. When someone is writing for $1/100 words they can just write (most times) off the top of their head, and then complete an article in ten to fifteen minutes.

It really depends on the writer though, when I was writing for Demand Studios it was taking some people more than two hours to write an article that was paying $15 because the standards of the editors we so high.

    Congratulations by the way.

Assignments are very scarce on Textbroker for level 2 and 3 writers.

Thanks for the info, OP. I've had, I think, around 55 4s in a row before. I recently took and passed the grammar test but then right after it some TB editor scored my last 5 articles at 3, bumping me down. I was pretty mad, but then I looked at the feedback and realized I wasn't doing commas in the way that TB wants. So take note, guys: they claim to use AP style, but they don't. They have a peculiar way that they want commas done. So you'd better learn that if you want to get up to L5.

OP, can you tell me if it's worth it striving for L5? I make at $30 a pop at Constant Content, and I'm trying to decide which I want to focus on. Granted, there isn't as much traffic at CC as I'd like.
