YouTube Ranking Questions

Hey guys

A few questions on ranking YT vids (in YouTube search), as mine aren't ranking at the moment:


  1. Has the situation changed on ranking vids over the last 30 days?
  2. How important is social backlinking / social bookmarking / normal backlinking?
  3. Are there any tools out there for tracking your vid's search result position?
  4. Is it best to upload the same video (with a tiny change to prevent detection), and wait for one of them to appear on YT search

Here is my current process:
1) Upload one video
2) Match description to optimized competition and to keywords of niche
3) Use a Fiverr 35,000 view service
4) Boost with EnhanceViews (100 x 90 second views [out of 720 seconds video length], 30x comments, 60x likes) every night

Worked the first time, but now it doesn't... :(

Any ideas?

Hmm fiverr views, are they high retention? If not, this is your problem :)

Cheers mate- they're not, so in future I'll lay off the Fiverr views and call them a waste of money.

I really need someone to explain them to me! Some people just say to go for the fiverr 'backlink pyramids' as YouTube don't look at authority, and some people say I need one or two high authority links. If you know of a social backlink service that works well on ranking a competitive-niche YouTube video, without caring about Google Search, that would be much appreciated!

I found this one, btw- thoughts? [No link, but 1500 backlinks for YT for $5]

What has worked for me;

- 4/5 High Retention views (80% - 100%) + 1/5 normal views (maybe 50%)
- Keeping the Views / Like / Comment ratio: 100 Views / 8 Likes / 4 Comments (approximetly, doesn't have to be exact.)
- Social Signals via Addmefast & Youlikehits

Bought a social signals gig @ Fiverr once, and my vid was immediately banned. Maybe it had something to do with that specific gig, but I just don't trust Fiverr no more. :)
 
Not only retention views work. After 300k fake views to a video, in one month it got around 200k genuine views. Don't forget to buy comments, likes and subscribers.

Cheers will take a look at Addmefast and Youlikehits then, and also look up social signals.

That should be all the info I need, thanks a bunch guys!

Bit tougher as more competitors now!

Social backlinking helps quite a bit! Get backlinking!

Just use the youtube search! Simplest way...

I wouldnt just feed the video with retention views and you should be fine.. Just give it time!

Thanks bro- much appreciated! I'll look into social backlinking as well as social signals- my first video of the week has just uploaded, boosting it now with enhance views with some high retention.

Also- had a little trouble with Youlikehits and Addmefast- not sure how I can go about building social signals using them

What I do it share my video using twitter, then use Youlikehits and Addmefast to get re-tweets and favorites this makes it more popular and once its popular you will get real people re-tweeting!

I've been wanting to test retweets, but I'm afraid that YouTube notice that all my vids are linked to the same Twitter account and therefore ban every vid when one gets banned... maybe I'm just paranoid. :)
 
I've bought

Fiverr social (forum-based) backlink pyramid
EnhanceViews likes, comments, favourites and 100* 600 out of 720 second views
YTView (recommended by BHW members) high retention views

I'll tweet and social signal later too. EDIT: Using AddMeFast now with a tweet- fingers crossed!

Will let you know how it goes!

The key is to not just blast all these thing and let it sit forever. Try and 'drip-feed' all of these different things together over a long period of time to show Google/YouTube that your video is still popular and relevant.
