Is anyone else having issues with youtube?

Im trying to monetise some videos ive uploaded. I click monetise tab and it puts the video under review for ever. Normaly it takes just 1min and the video is approved.

I search Youtube forums and people are also having same problem. Youtube has not officialy announced any issues with monetise tab.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Im loosing money for every min, hour, day that this continues.

That is really strange I just applied 2 of my videos for monetization and they were approved within 50 minutes ! .

YouTube dosnt have any contact details. I told them about the possible bug via the report a bug link. But no reply.

My account is in good standing. Also I have 3 channels and they are all having issues.

If youtube banned me from monetising then the monetise tab wouldnt be there. It allows me to monetise and apple but just put the video under revie without approving it.

Youtube dont put ads on every video you monetize, it depends some factors, like, views , links to the videos and other things, thats why some videos get instant aprroval, and some others takes a while to aprove. They dont review all monetize videos before put aDS on it.

So its a mix of things.

I dont think you quite understand. I have over 250 videos on my 3 channels and all videos monetised without any problem within 1min to 10min. But now any new video I upload will not get approved for monetization. If they put ads up or not they still approve for monetize. Also ive looked on Youtube forum and other people are having same issue.

Is anyone on BlackHat World having this issue?

This is not true in my experience. I've had several brand new videos get instantly monetized (within 1 or 2 minutes) with 0 views, 0 likes, etc. Unless you're talking about likes/views/etc for all videos on the channel.

I also have a video with several hundred thousand views, 98% likes:dislikes, tons of backlinks, no copyright claims. And it is impossible to monetize. It just gets stuck under review.

I run into the "under review" problem around half the time I try to monetize videos, and it is extremely frustrating. I need to find a solution to this, or doing business with YouTube just won't be feasible. I've been doing a lot of experimenting lately to see why this is the case. For one video that got stuck, stripping out all the images in the video solved the problem. However, I later failed to monetize another video with a completely black screen and non-copyright audio.

My next test will be with file types. I wonder if partners have this under review problem.

Well, that experiment seems to have failed.

If something doesn't give soon, I may just give up on YouTube.

Hmm what happens if you have a fake profile under a different sex and YT wants me to monetize the video.

If I say yes they might bust me for having the bogus account.

Yes, its a joke that Google/YT cant offer any propper support. At least give us a phone number to call them with issues/questions. Hey Google makes billions of $ a year. The USA and the world needs jobs right now so come on google sort it out! or at least rell us your looking into the issue

Did you read my post? I'm having the same problem. Lots of people are. It sucks, and I don't think there's anything we can do about it. Maybe becoming a partner is the answer.

I've given up on researching this because all I find is threads filled with people complaining about it. I've only seen 2 solutions proposed, and neither of them work.

Hey guys, I just noticed a change in the behavior. I've been uploading different variations of a video today (stripping visuals, changing audio pitch, different file types etc.). All of them were getting stuck in "under review".

However, the last few I tried simply switched off to "not monetized". One of them did this instantly, the other did so after about an hour.

I'm not sure what to make of this, since the video does not contain any copyrighted material. I haven't received any e-mails from YouTube informing me that the submissions were rejected, but it seems that they were.

This isn't particularly encouraging, but at least it's something different. I'd rather know that videos are being rejected instead of getting stuck in perpetual [non] review.

All is now fixed for me. Seems Youtube has some majore bugs on its site. My videos not moetise in an instant.

I reckon it's just going to be a matter of time before youtube finish letting people monotise their videos.

I have a number of videos up on youtube at the moment and a few of them have had their ability to monetise taken off them due to "Third Party" (Which is bollocks really).

YT certainly have "toughened" up recently. All my vids that were under review have now been monetised though. Think they are having issues with processing at the moment though.

Ever since the perpetual "under-review" problem ceased yesterday, and the auto-rejection kicked in, things seem to be running more smoothly. I've found that I can now monetize some videos, which get auto-approved.

However there is still one particular video that is getting auto-rejected. It sucks because I have the rights to the content, but YouTube doesn't give me the opportunity to prove it. I don't even get e-mails informing me that the vid is rejected.

It's better than under-review hell, though.

Yes. This is a very common problem right now. I have several channels with hundreds of videos - most of them are monetized. However, anything new that I upload gets stuck under review. Some have been sitting this way for well over a month...some two months. I've also researched this all to hell and can find nothing from YT support with any sort of "official" explanation. It's just dead silence. I'm still uploading videos with the hope that this gets resolved soon but, for the time being, making money on YT via AdSense seems to be dead.

Personally, I've changed my focus to direct viewers to my sites and push my affiliate offers, etc.
