Thinking of starting MVB, need some advice!

So I`m thinking of starting MVB'ing, content locking TV series.

I just want to know, is offshore hosting essential now? If so please suggest one aswell =)

Is this safe right now?

I have movie site hosted on Hostgator and i start to worry a bit, because i have more important sites hosted there. Anyone keep hosting movie/tv/music sites on hostgator?
