So I have been using the same niche to make my money on YouTube, but it does have a relatively low convert rate.

I`m talking, out of 100 people on my landing page only 5-10 will go ahead and do the offer to get the locked content.

So yeah around 5-10% convert rate I guess

I tried another niche and it was a younger audience and they all bitched and moaned and my videos got taken down really quick!

So whats the best content to lock?

I guess something they can download. I dunno

They won't moan and bitch if the content your locking is something they want and you prove to them it's real
